We booked our flight those years ago, I said I love you as I left you. Regrets still haunt my hollow head, but I promised you I will see you again, again.

The lyrics to The Mortician's Daughter played off my cellphone as I recived another text message. I sighed and grabbed my cellphone, cheaking who it was. Andy. I bit my lip as I pressed okay on my touch phone and read the message.

Please Aspen, don't ignore me. We still need to talk about this. About our friendship. About us. Please, text back.

I let out a groan as I replied.

What is it ?

A. Can we talk ? Please.

I don't want to talk about anything Andy. I'm done with that now. Alright ?

A. No, Aspen we're not done yet. We still have lots to talk about. I've missed you for so long and I want to talk with my best friend.

Ex- best friend. We are no longer friends or anything, Andy. You left me 3 years ago and never looked back. I'm done.

Tears glistening my eyes when I wrote the last sentence. I know it's a lie but I couldn't tell him that I wanted to see him. I know I don't get to be as mad as I was to him years ago, but the thought of him leaving me those years ago always run through my mind.

I rose from my bed after five minutes of wait for a reply and walked over to the window. The sky was covered with dark grey clouds, the trees and bushes swayed back and fort from the wind. The news today said it was going to rain, but I didn't believe them. I've always thought California was the brightest place ever, but I guess I was proved wrong.

" Knock. Knock." I turned to see Sammi standing in front of the door, holding her big, fat orange cat.

I chuckled. "Hey Sammi, what's up? " I walked back to the bed and sat down.

She shrugged her shoulder, walking over to the bed and sat down besided me. "Nothing. I'm just bored since Jinxx went with the guys today." She stroked her cat's fur as the cat purred.

"Oh. Well, why don't we do something today? I know it's cold and it's about to rain outside, but we can't let that stop us. Besides, I want to distracted myself from what happened a few days ago." I sighed gently.

She frowned and sat her cat down on the floor. She turned her whole body to face and took my hands, pulling me into one of her warm, soft hugs. I smiled and hugged her back, knowing a hug was what I needed. "Sure. We can go hang out at the mall. Or go to the movies. What ever you want." She pulled back, smiling.

"The mall sounds great, Sammi. Let's go." I took her hand again and jumped from the bed, pulling her along.

--

"Sammi.!"

"Sammi can I get your autograph?!"

"Where's Jinxx, Sammi?!"

I rolled my eyes at all the crazy fans that were surrounding her as we walked down the halls of the mall. We've only been here not even a hour and already crazy Black Veil Brides and Sammi Doll fans were here. I didn't understand why the Black Veil Brides fans were here, yes Sammi may be getting married to Jinxx but still, Sammi never talked about the boys.

"I'm sorry guys I'm here with my friend, so can you all please just walk away. I promise to make it all up to you guys later." Sammi said to all the fans. With that all the fans backed away and started heading back to where they came from.

"How do you do it, Sammi?" I asked when we entered Hot Topic.

She chuckled. "You get use to everything when you've been through a lot because the guy you love is in a famous band." She checked through the stack of shirts. "Speaking of love, have you talked to Andy yet?"

I blew out a sigh as I looked at band tees. I didn't want to talk about Andy. I didn't even want to hear his name or say his name, but I couldn't lie to my best friend. She had a right to know. "He texted me this morning. He wants us to talk but I told him that I'm done with him."

"Aspen, why did you say that.? I know and you know you didn't mean that. He's you bestfriend, Aspen."

"Was. Was my bestfriend, Sammi." I corrected her.

I could hear her let out an annoyed sigh. Why must this be so diffcult? "Just hear him out Aspen. He was gone for three years and now that you're finally back on track you hate him?"

"I don't hate him, Sammi. I just don't anything to do with him right now. If he was my best friend he could have at least called me or done something so we couldn't have lost contact." I leaned against the walls that held beanies and hats. "I miss him. I'm not going to deny that, but I need time."

"And I'll give you all the time in the world." I heard him say.

My eyes widen at the sound of his voice. So soft like an angel's voice. I pushed myself off the wall, my eyes going straight to his. He had no makeup on whatsoever, but yet he still looked handsome. He was wearing black leather skinny jeans, a Kiss mucsle tank top, and his boots, his hair flat ironed straight to perfection. I couldn't help but smile to myself.

"If that's what you then I'll give you time, Aspen, but please let's talk this through. And then, I'll let you decide where we go from this."

I was about to answer when all of sudden a bunch of people starting running towards Andy. Without thinking I walked up to Andy and took his arm, pulling him towards the exit.

We ran through the halls of the mall trying to find the closest exit possible. I pushed open the exit door and pulled him along with me. Letting go of hand I place both my hands before my head, taking deep breaths, trying to catch my breath.

"Th..thank you." Andy said in between breaths.

I smiled softly to him and nodded my head.

It took a few more deep breathes and for the rain to start pouring when we finally stood straight, looking at each other.

"I give you one hour to explain everything, Andy." He smiled, wrapping his arm around my shoulder and pulled us both to walk down the parking lot.

"That's all I need."
