(Steven POV)

Ok Steven you can do this! You can do this. Connie needs the best gift she ever would receive. She needs everything special for her big day. I already asked Garnet, amethyst and pearl to have their own different gifts because I have notice Connie only get 2 or 3 gifts including me so I thought Connie should have more this year or every other year, but what to give her this year. A necklace? A bracelet? Some socks? I don't know. I already gave her a necklace. I even gave her a bracelet. I can't give socks!

What do I give Connie. I've liked her for a long time now and I just wish I could give something from my heart. She's so important to me and to my life. I adore her so much she's everything to me so I will see to it she will be happy! Nothing is going to stop me from making my Connie happy!

I decided to leave the temple to walk around the city of I could have inspiration on what to give her for her birthday. I walked to the big donut and saw Lars and Sadie holding hands. I think it's about time those two got together. I walked in the entrance.

"Hey Steven what are you up for!" Sadie said waving her hand at me. I saw Lars and he just crossed his arms together and looked at the roof. Yup me and Lars are totally BFF's. "Well Sadie I'm not looking for donuts today. I'm here to ask you something really important that my life depends on it!" I said

"Well what is it Steven?"

"I need your help to find Connie the best birthday gift ever" I said then I heard Lars snicker. "Awe is Stevie wevie gunna find his girlfriend a little pwesent" lars said.

"Uh Lars didn't I already say I would" I said and he looks at me with a smirk.

"Gunna do something extra special for your lady friend right. Well I recommend at night giving her the time of her life!" Lars said then Sadie blushes madly at what He just said and hit him at his shoulder. "Lars why would you say that!"Sadie said while Lars was laughing. 'Why tho? It's not a bad idea. Giving Connie the time of her life is what is should do for her.... That's it!!' I thought as I have Lars a hug. "Thank you Lars that gave me an idea!" I let go of him and I saw Sadie looking at me blushing with a surprised look on her face. "Steven you're not really going to do what I think you're going to do?" She said uneasy. "I don't know but I know what to give Connie! Thanks guys! " I said as I left the donut shop. I went back to the temple and got a paper and pencil then started to write what I wanted to say.
