You twirled in your dress and smiled back at yourself. "You look stunning, honey." Your mom said adding your veil. You take a deep breath trying to put your nerves at ease. "Relax Summer, it's your wedding day." Your maid of honer said while giving you a reassuring smile. Once all of the girls were finished getting ready, everyone took their place.
The first set of bridesmaids went, then the second, and finally the last. It was your time to shine. All the guests rose from their seats and your linked arms with your father. This is it, You're getting married to the love of your life, Danny.
You started to make your way down the isle, everyone stared at you in awe. You look up at your soon to be husband and you can't help but smile. He looked absolutely perfect in a tux. You reach the alter and kiss your father on his cheek. Danny grabbed your hands and stared into your eyes, not breaking the intimate moment. "I Danny, take you Summer to be my lawfully wedded wife. To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poor, in sickness and in health, until death do us part." By now there was not a dry eye in the room. I repeated the vows, slipping Danny's ring onto his finger. "I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." The priest said smiling slightly. Danny and I shared a short passionate kiss, which caused the crowd of guests to go wild.
Everyone moved to the ballroom where the reception was to be held. People were continually coming up to you and Danny congratulating you both. With a knife in hand you and Danny cut the first slice of cake. Danny was posing for the photographer with cake in hand, but things quickly turned messy. He swiped frosting across your nose causing you to shriek and break into laughter. "Danny! You're going to get frosting everywhere!" You pull your curly hair to the side avoiding making a bigger mess. "What's a wedding with no fun?" He replied with a grin, he began to lean in kissing the your nose and removing the frosting in the process. "A wedding." You tried to keep a serious look on your face, but failed miserably.
The night moved along and you couldn't have been happier. Danny and your family became one and the night was quickly coming to an end. You thanked your guests and made and exit. "After you my beautiful wife." Danny said while holding the limo door. "Why thank you my wonderful husband." You both slid onto the seat and were heading off to your honeymoon trip. Of course the day was long and you were exhausted. You leaned your head on Danny's shoulder, you were almost asleep. You heard Danny chuckle and then whisper "I can't wait to spend my life with you princess." He pressed a kiss to your forehead before letting you fall asleep.
