Wanda Trees: don't exist or at least I think they don't and if they do I put a fake name on it.

Vampire Trees: Don't exist and if they do I don't know what their real name is ether

(Ely's point of view)

Prince Logan and I were off to a good start. He got up with out any more trouble. Not like last time. Lake water is not a good way to start off a beautiful morning. I was a bit shocked, and that never happens.

It is really hard to believe that we have come this far with out any complications. There were no wild animals asking us to come over and have dinner with them, and end up "being dinner". There was also no bandits in the woods hoping to ship off more people. It turned out to be an easy journey for the most part.

"Sigh..." I excelled and climbed another Wanda Tree.

A Wanda Tree is a tree that grows up to the sky. That is one way to describe a Wanda Tree. The tree has a diameter of two hundred feet. But that's not the only beauty of the tree. Its roots are extremely thick and instead of heading down like the other roots they pop out of the soil. Wanda trees are very common in the jungle.

It is very strange that this trip is like a walk in the park. Man what a relief.

"ly... Ely!.... ELY!" I heard some one repeating my name out far in the distance. It was coming from behind me.

I immediately turned around and to my surprise the Prince was missing. The voice I heard just now was definitely Longa's. I turned both ways, left, right, up, and there was no sign of him anywhere. It was like the earth had eat him with out leaving a trace.

"Price Logan! Where are you?!" I said pulling out my sword and heading back the way I came from. As it thought it was way too peaceful to last.

"HELP ME! THERE TOO MANY OF THEM!" Logan shouted form the top of his lungs. I followed the sound and found him at last.

When I appeared there were a bunch of merchants traders ganging up on the priceless package. In the center of the whole group was Logan and he had his sword at hand. There were too many for just one person especially with his lack of skill.

The merchants had small swords, more like daggers. They looked like they hadn't taken a bath in ages, but who was I to judge. Most of them had Tarzan's hair, loose clothing so they couldn't out grow them and make them last longer.

I was at the top of a Wanda tree and I jumped down. In no time I was in action and protecting the prince. Logan was sweating from his forehead and couldn't take much more. But the fight didn't last much longer, they were tired and retreaded to find an easier prey.

After they were gone we proceeded to advance and hid in one of the Wanda trees. Mostly all of the trees have small caves that protect travelers from the harsh winds and weather. We hid there and set camp for the day. There was an uncomfortable silence in the cave. Every movement we made echoed in the small cavern.

"What were they looking for?" Logan finally asked and breaking the silence.

"They probably heard that the you left the capital and if they were to find you then many people would pay a good amount of money to return the Queen's only son and heir to the thrown." I replied. I can't help but to simply say it like that. There might have been a better way of putting it but I was too tired to come up with one.

"Then what do we do now? They already know and might have more of their people out on the look out." Logan questioned while he as looking for a place that looked some what decent for him to lay down like his bed back home in the Wanda cave.

"It means that we have to speed up our pace. Ether traveling at night, or rest less. But we'll discuss the issue when the sun is out and about. Get some rest we have a big day tomorrow."

I handed Logan a blanket and he settled down to rest. Since he was exhausted from the quarrel today I took the first watch. Not a lot of time passed and Logan was fast asleep, as usual. I turned to look out of the cave's entrance.

There was a low chance of anyone finding us up here so I climbed to the very top of the Wanda tree. It wasn't that high up from the ground.

I stayed up there staring that the sky and the stars. Then night was full of beautiful colorful stars millions and millions of miles away.

"What are you doing here? Are you homesick?" Logan said looking for a steady, thick branch to sit on.

"I don't have to reason to be homesick, I'm just waiting for the sun to appear. By the way why are you awake. There is still some time before sunrise." I said scooting over to make room for him to sit.

"I don't know. Any ways everyone is home sick every now and then. If you're homesick there's no need to hide it." Logan replied.

"What is the main purpose of the stars, and how were they made?" I asked him. Logan seamed kind of confused due to the off topic question. I waited patiently for his response.

"I don't know how the stars came to be, but I'm think they were made to decorate the sky at night." The Prince responded at last.

"Your highness, I'm like the stars. We lack the knowledge of the origin of the stars, and we don't know why they're there. I can't be homesick due to the fact I don't have a home, nor parents to return to. I don't know why I'm still here, other than what I'm told is my duty." I finally said. It was a thought out answered not like the one earlier.

After that there was no talking from ether one of us. We sat there quietly and gazed at the stars.

Up in the trees, there was a faint cold breeze that smelled like home. Or at least that's what I thought it smelled like. But of course it felt life home, there was a fire escalating not too far from our current location.

"Pack up were leaving immediately." I ordered Logan.

With out another word he did as he was told and we climbed down the tree, or that is what i had planed. But before long Logan and I realized that the entire area around us was completely set on fire. The fire had elevated into an extreme degree.

"Lets jump from tree to tree and reach an area safe enough to set foot on." Suggested Logan.

"I think that's a cleaver idea." I said as we both jumped like savage monkeys from tree to tree. It seamed like a game at first hoping from one area to another. But then again we were fighting for our lives. It kind of would have been fun if we weren't fire about to consume us at any minute if we didn't hurry.

Finally finding a safe place to run for our lives we headed down and ran. Its funny how when anyone is running for their lives we all suddenly become track stars.

We ran for a while until we reached a lake. Tired from running we rested near some rocks that were inviting us to sit down. When rocks are that way it almost breaks our hearts if we say no.

"So where are we exactly?" Logan asked at last after laying down on the green grass playing with a bird near by.

Taking a look at the only map we had a cold shiver ran down my spine as I located our position.

"So where are we?" Logan asked again sitting up straight.

"We um... we're in the neighboring kingdoms territory." I replied.

"You mean the Kisami lands!" Logan asked with an alarming tone.

"Yes." was all I could say. Now the real problem was not getting to the meeting place for Logan to choose his path on time. It changed to getting there all in one piece.

"Ha-ha. So much for a walk in the park mission huh?" Logan laughed in a mono tone.

Yeah tell me about it...
