So: It all began on a rainy Tuesday morning when I was in class, History as a matter of a fact, boring History. Miss Heather is rattling away at the front of the class, obviously I'm not paying attention, I'm staring out the window at the raindrops running down the glass. I love rain, it clams me and the sound of the rain softly pattering against the glass pane of the window is like a lullaby. Soon I drift into a deep slumber. "Clarke, Clarke!" Robyns shouting while giving me sharp pokes in the ribs. I quickly open my eyes, to see a nervous Robyn and Miss Heather's death stare. Her eyes are are as cold as blue ice. I have blue eyes too but mine are calming like the..........ocean. I take a deep breath and brush my long brown hair out of my eyes. I put an innocent look on my face. Miss Heather is not exactly the forgiving type. "Yes Miss?" I mutter. "We're you sleeping?" She shouted, massive gobs of spit flying everywhere. I pitied the people in the front row. "No Miss, just resting. I had a really early morning." Someone snorts behind me. I turn around and just my luck, it's my twin brother, Lee. "We nearly missed the bus cause you decided to sleep in an extra hour." He commented giving me a deceiving smile. Lee was the perfect image of my dad, the dark curly hair, brown eyes, tanned skin and the absolute perfect smile. Whereas my friends always used to comment I looked like a younger version of my mum. I had long light brown hair, perfectly trimmed eyebrows and a crooked smile. However I had my dads personality and we loved the same things. I was adventurous, I loved heights, horror movies and building things. Well enough about me, back to the story. "Well since you were sleeping in class and denied it, extra homework for you. Miss Heather said raising her voice even higher then before, which I didn't think was possible. I did a silent groan the nodded my head in acceptance. When Miss Heather turned to write on the whiteboard again, I snuck a look at Lee. He was smiling at me like he didn't just get me in trouble. I pulled a horrific face at him then went back to working on my project on Ancient Rome. Ten minutes later Miss Heather took a phone call and told Lee and I to go to the principle office. "Oh great, what have you done now Clarke?" Lee said, sarcastically. I laughed and have him a playful push. The push wasn't harmful just playful, despite that Lee stumbled and tripped, that never happened to Lee. For the first time today I had a good look at him. He didn't look like his normal self; he was pale and his nose was running. I didn't believe it. Lee never got sick, neither of us did. We hurried to the principles office only to find Mum and Dad sitting there. Sweat started purring off me. Mum and Dad hardly ever came into school, only when I was in serious trouble. I racked my brains for any memories of something I did wrong. I couldn't think of anything. The principle handed Lee and I a pink slip of paper. 'Yes' I thought to myself as I read the slip of paper. The slip of paper read 'Please excuse Lee and Clarke from the rest of the school afternoon because they have a doctors appointment.' I was so happy and relieved I didn't have to do anymore stupid History, I mean why do we learn about old famous things, I mean The Roman empire rain died many years ago anyway. I mean focus on the present and future not the past. I thought about the appointment for a while, we are probably going to to get a check-up to make sure we didn't collect any diseases or anything from when we went to Bali one month ago.
