I couldn't bare the boredom any longer. I had been sitting still on an uncomfortable chair for half an hour. I pulled out my iPhone 5 and flicked through my messages. I had five new messages; 4 from Robyn and 1 from Ethan; my boyfriend. Ethan was a handsome guy, he was 14. He had blonde hair and wasn't tall but he wasn't small either. Ethan's my first boyfriend. I played back Robyn's messages, just some boring stuff and homework and a whole phone call on how Miss Heather fell down the stairs. I chuckled a bit when I listened to the message. I played back Ethan's message and froze. Tears welled in my eyes but I violently brushed them away. I angrily shoved my phone back into my pocket. Anyone would understand why I was so upset. I mean who dumps someone by phone. This is probably the worst day ever. First my brother then my boyfriend. Eventually after waiting for what seemed like forever we where allowed inside to see Lee. "How's he doing?" Dad asked nervously. The nurse didn't reply. I looked at Lee and almost didn't recognise him. On the bed there was a boy who was pale and his eyes were bloodshot. There where traces of black vomit on his sheet covers and the tiled floor. "Poor Lee." I whispered. We sat next to Lee's bed for about an hour. Eventually the nurse broke the news to my Mum that visiting hours were closed. I stayed at the nurse puzzled. She looked at me and sighed. "Lee is going to have to stay here till we figure out how to cure this." Mum insisted on staying but was denied. Mum started to cry and continued all the way to he car. Dad tried calming her down but she just did t want to stop. Dad ended up driving so that means we got home ten minutes later then we would have if Mum was driving. We didn't have dinner that night. I went straight to bed without bothering to change out of my school uniform. I lay in bed, the thought of Lee vomiting all night, haunted me. Eventually I fell asleep; fell asleep into a deep slumber.
