The promise

Justin's perspective

I hid behind a tree, when I saw two girls coming near. I couldn't see their faces but I heard them. The dead calf was next to me almost drained for blood. Maybe I should kill its mother. Or I could kill the two girls. Bury their bodies deepest in the woods. No one would ever find them, when the bodies were rotted away. I had killed innocent people before, but it wasn't something I was proud of. The thirst took over my emotions and I headed for the blonde girl. Suddenly I stopped a meter away from her, when I saw who I was just about to kill. Hailey that wonderful girl and next to her Lea. She looked shocked, and I heard her heart beaten very fast.
"Justin what the hell are you doing! We could have had a heart failure! Do you want another kiss or something!" Lea yelled and sighed.
"Sorry, I just really need to talk to Hailey for a second" I said. I couldn't tell them the truth about me, it's to risky.
" So you followed us and spied on us?! And then scared the hell out of us, because you need to talk with Hailey?! Good plan Justin, now I like you much more" Lea said with irony.
Hailey took my hand and we walked fifty meters away from Lea.
"What do you wanna talk about?" She said still a little shocked. I had to come up with an idea.
"You and me. Me and you. Us" I gave her a flirty smile.
She giggled and gave me a warm hug.
"Justin I feel the same way but still, we have just met" she looked me deeply in my eyes.
" but it's love at first sight and I'm so into you that I can't describe how much you mean to me. I think about you all the time Hailey Baldwin" Actually it wasn't a lie. I couldn't stop thinking about her. Suddenly I could feel a pair of soft lips against mine. She kissed me with so much passion and I kissed back. My entire body burned. Too early she let me go. I wanted more, so I kissed her again. I hoped she didn't tasted the blood. The kiss didn't last for so long because Lea interrupted. In a hurry Hailey fixed her hair and smiled innocent to Lea.
" So you did got your kiss I can see Justin. Are you guys a pair now or something?" I looked at Hailey for help, but she just blushed and looked away.
"We are working on it" I said and smirked.
" what's that supposed to mean?" She looked confused.

Hailey's perspective

I sat in my room after I've said goodbye to Lea and Justin. I couldn't stop thinking about if Justin really told me the truth. It was a little strange he just randomly showed up in the woods. What if he didn't even like me. Maybe he's hiding something.
"Hailey you have a visitor!" My mom yelled from the living room. I walked downstairs, and saw Nate standing in the doorway. He looked sad, and tried to avoid eye contact with me.
"Come on in" I said and we walked into my room. Nate closed the door, and walked over to my bed and sat down. In ten minutes he didn't said a word only looked at the floor.
" Lea told me about the episode in the woods" Nate said suddenly but still avoid eye contact.
"Ohh I didn't knew, also about the... Kiss" I said quietly and walked nervous over to him.
"Yes Hailey, she told me everything! Can't you see there's something wrong with that guy!? I can feel it every time he's near me. Like a dangerous force or something! Justin is not a good person, please stay away from him! For your own safety" I could see his eyes turn wet. He stood up and headed for the door.
"Don't go! Please Nate. I will stay away from him if it's what's takes to keep our friendship?! Please... Don't leave me again!"
"Do you promise me to stay away from him?" Nate said and hold my head with two hands.
"I promise" I said and cried a little, when Nate wrapped his arms around me. We sat in this position for a long time, until Nate had to go home.
Actually I wasn't sure if I could keep the promise. Something about Justin attracted me, and I couldn't help it. He was like a magnet, only for me.
