The meeting

Hailey's perspective

Tom walked down the empty street. While he was playing on the casino, the dark had showet up. Suddenly he saw a shadow lying in front of him. " Help me I can't breathe!" The shadow said with a hoard voice. Tom ran over to the man on the ground. The man or boy looked at him, with his brown eyes there was screaming for help. " Relax everything is gonna be alright" Tom said and grabbed the phone, from his jacket. Suddenly the boy stood in front of him and laughed. " Did you really think something was wrong with me? I'm immortal no one can defeat me. I'm a killer! I can kill you with my little finger!" He yelled with an evil grin. Tom couldn't move and his body trembled. "Who are you!" Tom asked and followed the boy with his eyes, while he walked around him.
"It's always the same stupid questions: Who are you? what do you want? why are you doing this?" He took a step closer and Tom felled his breath in the neck. " I'm a vampire and this is gonna hurt a little" Suddenly everything became black. More black than the night.

I woke up in sweat and an empty feeling inside. It wasn't the first time I've dreamed about my fathers dead. I don't know if my brain played games with me, or if it was the exact way he died. They just told me, they found him lying on the street drained for blood. But vampires don't exist how could I be so dumb.

Today was Saturday, so I texted Lea and we decided to go shopping. I had to clean my mind from everything. The kiss with Justin, and the stupid promise I gave Nate. What would Justin think when I'm going to avoid him? Or Nate if I can't avoid wonderful Justin - every girls dream.
I picked a pair of jeans with holes, and a Calvin Klein shirt. I made a messy bun, and walked down the stairs. My mom sat in front of the tv, with a bowl filled with cereals. Surprisingly Nate sat next to her eating an orange. He smiled when we got eye contact, and gave me the elevator look. It seems like he was in a good mood today.
"Nate says you two are going out today Hailey. You haven't told me"
"Are we Nate?" I grinned and jumped over to the sofa and gave him a bear hug.
"Yes we are Hay! I have planned with Lea that we are going shopping, and after that we're eating, on the new seafood restaurant."
"Sounds good!" I smiled and tickled his nose.
After an episode of friends we decided to get going. Mom gave me a list with things I should buy for her.
"Have fun! And Nate take care of my precious little girl"
"I will Mrs. Baldwin" Nate said and we left the house.

The drive

The music played out loud and we sang along, with the windows down. We had a great time, and suddenly Nate placed his hand on mine. It was warm and I blushed and released my hand. I was still thinking of the kiss with Justin. I couldn't just forget it.
"What can't I hold your hand? You're not thinking of Justin are you?!" Nate said and had his eyes on me. I looked at my hands and bit nervous in my lip. "No" I said quietly.

Lea stood at the entrance, and saw us coming near. She waved exited and ran over for a hug. We entered the cold shopping center and headed for Victoria's Secret. Me and Lea had to buy some bikinis. Nate was already tired after I've tried a few. Suddenly when I was searching for the price tag on a black bikini , I saw a dark familiar shadow. I could feel his eyes on me. I wasn't wrong, Justin stood behind a mannequin, as usual in black clothes. He was smirking, and gave me a flirty look. Lea and Nate didn't notice him they were busy discussing which one fitted me better. Did he followed us with purpose? It was a little strange.

Justin's perspective

When I saw Hailey's confused face I couldn't help but smiled. Her blood let me the way to Victoria's Secret. I just couldn't stay away from her no matter how much I tried. I don't now if it was her blood or her that attracted me. She began slowly to walk in my direction. She kept looking nervous at Nate and Lea. Like they may not see us.
