Chapter 10

Shane POV

It was lunch time, and I was walking to the cafeteria. I saw Joey on the way there but I just kept walking so it wasn't obvious because me just being around him would cause suspicion. I hated that I just had to walk away, I wish we could just be like a normal couple. Where we could be in school and I could run up behind him and wrap my arms around him but, I cant do that and that makes me mad.

I got to the cafeteria and I saw Kalel and Cat sitting at a table. It was two tables away from Sawyer and Anthony. Plus the rest of their bunch. My god Kalel should of known this wouldn't turn out well, but I walked over and sat down anyway. Then about 2 minutes later Joey came and sat down next to me.

Joey: Hey.

Cat: Hey, Shane what were you doing yesterday?

Shane: I was on my way home from Joey's house.

Cat: Oh, I was on my way to Ingrid's house.

Sawyer came up behind me and pushed me forward into the table and started laughing at me. Of course I got mad but I just kept my mouth shut.

Sawyer: So I heard you were at Josephina's house last night what were you doing there.

I was about to blow up when Kalel did it for me.

Kalel: Sawyer why the fuck does it concern you, oh that's right it doesn't. Therefore shut your damn mouth and turn you slutty man-whore ass around and walk away.

Sawyer: How about you let emo boy say that to me and not you or his little gay buddy.

Kalel: Don't get Shane or Joey involved in this they are great people unlike you and your little gang. Sawyer go to hell, Anthony go walk off a cliff or follow Sawyer. My point has been proven goodbye.

Then Kalel grabbed me and Joey's hands and we walked out of the cafeteria. We had all of our normal classes and they all went normally and Sawyer made fun of me more. Then finally the day ended and me and Joey were walking home. Kalel wanted to give us some alone time so she walked home with Cat and Ingrid.

Joey: How about we go to the place behind my house before we tell your mom.

Shane: Okay.

We arrived at the woodsy area and we stopped at Joey's house to get a blanket to lay on the ground and we found a place by a stream and laid the blanket to where we could lean on a tree. We sat down and I grabbed Joey's hand.

Joey: Don't you wish we could do this wherever we are.

Shane: Yeah, but we cant and until we want to come out we will have to just except that.

Joey: I know.

Joey layed down and put his head in my lap and I ran my hands through his hair.

After a few minutes Joey got up and we cuddled while we layed against the tree.

Shane: Hey Joey.

Joey: What?

He looked up at me and I put my finger under his chin and gently pressed my lips onto his.

Joey POV

Shane was kissing me and I wrapped my arms around Shane's neck and pulled him closer while he put his hands on my waist. The kiss got a little heated so without breaking the kiss I got on Shane's lap with my legs on both sides of him. I brushed my toungue against his bottom lip and again HE DIDNT OPEN HIS MOUTH. So I stopped kissing him and rested my forehead against his.

Joey: Your sitting down so I cant grab your ass to make you open your mouth so ill have to do something else.

I winked at Shane.

Shane: Im okay with that, but fine ill listen to you.

He started kissing me again and he did as promised he opened his mouth when I wanted him to. I took my shirt off eventually and started tugging at his.

Shane: I love you  but its too early for that, how about we just stick to making out.

I was a little upset at first but I cant stay mad at Shane so I put my shirt back on and agreed.

We layed down on the blanket together and I laid my head on his chest and put my arms around him. I eventually fell asleep.

**2 hours later**

When I woke up I was still cuddling with Shane. I looked at the clock at it was 6 pm already. I guess I have to wake Shane up because we still have to come out to his mom tonight. I woke Shane up and we started walking to his house.

Shane POV

I was exteremly nervous but I honestly think my mom will be okay with it, I just hope my brothers except me.

We got to my house a couple minutes later and I didn't care who was watching, before we went in the house I gave Joey a quick peck on the lips and then I opened the door.

Shane: Hey mom im home.

Teresa: Oh hey honey and Joey.

Shane: Well I have to tell you something can we go sit down.

Teresa: Sure.

We went into the living room and sat down Joey sat beside me but not to close because even though we were going to tell her I didn't want to raise suspicion just yet.

Teresa: So what do you want to tell me?

I scooted closer to Joey.

Shane: well, I don't know how to say this so I will just say it. Im gay and im dating Joey.

Joey grabbed my hand and I accepted his gesture.

Teresa: Well you know that being gay is a sin, but if that's what makes you happy than im happy.

I hugged Joey and placed a small peck on his lips but quickly pulled away.

Then I ran over to my mom and hugged her, and I started to tear up.

Shane: Thank you so much mom for accepting me.

Teresa: Oh honey why are you crying.

Shane: Im just happy.

Teresa: I don't know how your brothers are going to tak it but hopefully they are okay with it.

Shane: Ill tell them a diiferent time, but is it okay if I stay at Joey's tonight.

My mom raised her eyebrows and Joey started to blush because he knew what she was thinking.

Teresa: I guess but nothing will happen there right.

Shane: Nothing will happen its way too early for that anyways

We walked to Joeys house and Joey opened the door.
