The following morning; I had left Maven's home early, my feet walking at a very fast past along the gravel. I had totally forgotten about the past night, and the ignorant blood thirsty vampire. My eyes slowly fell shut as I breathed in the nature while a slight shiver of wind forms goosebumps upon my skin.
"Ooo, I've never seen skin do this before." A gentle hand caressed my arm as I was stopped dead in my tracks. The boy smiled, and waved, I knew exactly who that face was. The blue dangerous eyes mainly gave it away.
"I'm not afraid of you, I hope you know." I folded my arms and continued my walk, hearing a gasp along with a thud. Oliver skimmed past me and once again, smiled.
"Am I trying to scare you?" He rolled his eyes, and I couldn't help but glare at him as he was one hell of an asshole. I've met no man like him, maybe it's because I'm always around Maven, and he's so pure.
"Cocky asshole." I muttered.
"What did you call me?"
"I said-"
"I know what you fucking called me." He pinned me against a tree in one swift movement, my breathing completely dropping, and I could feel my heartbeat slowly die down.
"Then, why'd you ask a stupid question." I grinned, and in return, I had a large fist slam against the tree beside my fragile head.
"I can smell the blood pumping through your veins."
"And I can smell bad odour, wear some cologne or something." I removed myself from his trap, and continued along my path, I haven't been so sassy in my life. I could hear a growl before he reappeared by my side.
"You have no idea what I'm capable of." He slowly, pressed his hand to my shoulder, pushing me away from my pathway home.
"How come you aren't scared, you only met me yesterday and now you think I'm just some normal human walking down the damn street."
I slowly glanced at him before I shrug, gently rubbing my arm, while I continued down the stairs. "Ah, okay. I see what you are doing. The tough act so that I will get distracted by your foolishness and not harm you at all."
My lips formed a straight line as I didn't respond, staring straight as I finally reached my home. "Not yet." He whispered right behind my ear, but as soon as I turned to look back, he was gone.
"What a nightmare." I mocked before heading inside the house, my mind spinning as I fell upon the couch, dropping my bag. A major headache had finally come over me, as I crossed one leg over the other.
I didn't get much rest, before the phone rang rather loud to my ears causing my head to ache some more. I lifted my body as I reached for the phone, raising it to my ear.
"Hello?"
"Why'd you leave?"
"Maven, my brother is going camping soon and he wants me to come."
"Can I come?"
I sigh heavily with a smile before sitting up, as I run my fingers through my hair. "Sure." I nod slowly, running my eyes as I heard rummaging through the other end of the phone.
