"This doesn't even make sense", Spencer said agitated, gripping his hair that had grown fairly long again. He had to cut it when he came back home.

"You'll figure it out, pretty boy, you always do.", Morgan said, trying to comfort him.

"It's just, I can't bring this into relation to what this is, what even is this case?", Spencer asked into the room. He and Morgan were sitting at a long table at a space they had been given by the Minneapolis police department whilst the others were off inspecting the crime scenes.

Derek was waiting on some information given by Penelope or on some clue Spencer would come to mutter sooner or later so that they would make progress in this case.

Spencer suddenly jolted up and Derek watched as he walked up and down the room. He was debating on whether or not to call Violet.

"What are you so unsure about?", Morgan asked him then, sensing that something was wrong.

"It's nothing, really, don't worry.", Spencer tried to convince him but his best friend wouldn't have it.

"Look, you can tell me. There's clearly something that you're trying to wrap your mind around and I can't watch you. Just let me help, okay?"

"Okay, fine. I'll call her."

"Call who?", Morgan questioned but Reid wouldn't answer him, he had already grabbed his phone out of his satchel and made his way outside.

"Violet?", he brought out, right as she accepted the call.

"Yes? Spencer? Look, it's bad timing, I-"

"Violet, please, I need your help with the case."

"Oh, okay. Just give me a second then.", it sounded like she was talking to someone else before closing a heavy door.

"So, do you want to go through all of the colours?", she asked.

"Please."

"Okay, so I don't know where to start.."

"Right, maybe I'll just go ahead and tell you everything I know right now so that I can make sense of it somehow? Would you do that for me?"

"Sure."

"The tips of their hair were coloured red, same as the knuckles, the red colour stands for war magic, right? And the wrists were circled black which is death magic, when I'm not mistaken? So, the first and the second victim were high risk victims, the first one unemployed, the second one a prostitute, the third  and possible fourth victim would be low risk victims, a psychology professor and now the missing wife of the US-representative. The first body was found  in the North East, the second one in the South West and the third one in the West of the city. The dump sites were all near lakes. I had thought about the correspondence to the book due to the colours, so they have to be the key. But I can't seem to make sense of all of this. I'm trying to figure out if the Unsub gave us a tip with the painted fingernails.."

"In which order were they painted?", Violet asked curiously.

"Starting with the left hand, green, yellow and purple, black, blue, green, yellow and on the other hand, only three fingernails were painted, silver, orange and red."

"Okay, okay, I'm writing it down in a circle. We have green, yellow and purple, these colours are usually used to describe the colour octarine which stands for pure magic. Death magic, wealth magic, love magic, ego magic, sex magic, thinking magic and war magic. The first victim was found in the North East, which means if we follow the circle that I just made up which follows the order of the fingernails, octarine would be in the North, and black in the North East, so death magic. South West would be silver which stands for sex magic. The victim was a prostitute you said, right? Blue for West which is thinking magic- the victim was a psychology professor. As North East and South West are perfectly opposite each other, I suppose the fourth victim would be found in the East which is opposite to West of course."
