They stand there for a bit longer before she breaks the connection.

Spencer wipes her tears away with his thumbs, which is something quite unnecessary to do as they are still standing in the pouring rain and his hands stay on either side of her cheeks as they look into each other's eyes.

He shakes his head and searches for words to speak. Violet stays quiet, there is so much going on inside her mind right now and she tries to figure out how she got here.

"We should probably go inside, come on." He speaks softly, tugging at her coat sleeve, his voice calming her. She follows his foot steps through the door and kicks off her shoes in the narrow hall, bending down to put them there neatly and brushing off her coat that Spencer takes out of her hands to hang up. His arm brushes against hers and he notices that all of her clothes are wet, her coat not having protected her unlike Spencer's.

She holds on to his hand and he guides her into his bedroom, letting go only when he needs to open his drawers to get her something to change in to, having already passed her a towel for her to dry her hair with, which she is currently doing.

He passes her a T-shirt of his and pyjama bottoms and is about to leave to change as well, when he feels her touching his upper arm, preventing him from going.

Looking at her, he sees that there are tears still leaving her eyes and his brows furrow together.

"Please, I don't want to be alone." Her voice cracks and she looks down to the ground, ashamed.

"Sorry." Spencer whispers, nodding, taking the towel out of her hand now that she is finished with drying her hair and puts it on top of one of his chest of drawers, staying faced towards it so that his back is turned to her.

"You can get dressed, I won't look." He whispers and she turns around, too, so that she looks at the opposite wall to the one Spencer was facing.

"I turned around now, too, so you can as well." She whispers merely audible, and he smiles, though she isn't able to see.

Both of them start to get changed, the only sounds being heard for that time were the sound the zippers made being opened and the jeans made as they slipped out of them.

During the process of putting on his shirt Spencer accidentally glances over his shoulder for a brief moment, blushing beet red a second later and guiltily turning his head back around.

A few more seconds pass before he hears her mutter that she's finished.

"Oh, okay, me too." He says awkwardly, not sure what to do now.

She smiles slightly as he doesn't budge, "You know you can turn around now, Spencer, right?"

He turns around and smiles at how she looks in his clothes, the bottoms especially being way too big for her.

"Violet?"

"Hmm?"

"I'm going to call Charlie to let him now that you're here." He says, walking over to where she stands, near his bed, "You can just lie down, uh- if that's what you want to do."

She nods, pressing her lips together, sitting down on the edge of Spencer's mattress as he calls Charlie.

"I found her." Violet could hear him speak, looking at him walk up and down the small but comfortable looking room, "Well, she rather found me... No, no, don't worry. She's with me now," he shoots her a smile, "I'm going to call you again, just wanted to let you know."

When he hangs up the phone, he sits beside Violet the same way they sat on the night of their kiss, one of their knees touching. He sees that there are tears occasionally leaving her eyes still and notices how she tries to blink them back.
