Finding Sebastian

Prologue

  "Come on Vladimir, you can do it," I encouraged my son who was now 7 years old in human years, but 14 in demon years.
"I can't mommy!" Vladimir exclaimed.
"Come on Vlad, don't be a sissy," Isabella huffed.
"Isabella," I said. She is always teasing her twin. The teasing seemed to help however because Vladimir finally accomplished what we have been striving for. Unlocking his demon form.
"I did it mommy! I did it!"
Vladimir exclaimed.
"You sure did!" I exclaimed swinging him around. He was so adorable. He had black cat ears, a black cat tail and beautiful black raven wings like his father and I.
"Can we go show daddy?" Vladimir asked.
"Of course we can! He is going to be so proud of you," I replied.
"Yay!" Vladimir exclaimed.
"Are you coming too Isabella?" I asked.
"Yeah sure," she said grumpily.
"What's wrong Izzy?" I asked her.
"Nothing, it's just I don't like how girly my demon form is."
"Well I still think you are perfect," I said kissing the top of her head. Isabella unlocked her demon from a few minutes before Vladimir. She also had black raven wings like Vladimir, but that is where the similarities ended. She also had cat ears and a tail, but instead of being black, hers were a baby pink much to her distaste.
"Come on Izzy let's show daddy!" Vladimir exclaimed. Isabella looked up at me and I smiled. She smiled back and started running.
"Last one to daddy is a dirty shinigami!" Isabella yelled.
"Hey! No fair!" Vladimir yelled running after her. I struggled to keep up. Those two have the energy of 1000 cheetahs.
"Daddy! Daddy! Look what we can do now!" They exclaimed together. Sebastian looked up from the book he was reading and smiled.
"I'm so proud of- woah!" Sebastian exclaimed as the children literally flew into his arms. The three of them fell to the ground laughing.
"I still think I look too girly," Isabella complained.
"Well I still think you're perfect," Sebastian said hugging her close.
"What about me daddy?" Vladimir asked.
"Of course! You both are perfect in my eyes." Isabella and Vladimir hugged Sebastian tightly. I smiled from where I was standing.
"Oh yeah? Isn't aunt Lizzy coming over today?" Vladimir asked.
"Yes she is. She is taking you and Isabella out shopping and then to the park to feed the ducks," I said.
"Yay!" Vladimir and Isabella exclaimed together. Lady Elizabeth takes the children out every once in a while to give Sebastian and I some alone time. I looked over at Sebastian an he winked at me. I just shook my head and walked over to them.
"Alright, aunt Lizzy will be here any minute now. You should probably get back in your human forms and go wash up," I told the children.
"Okay!" They said in unison. Both of them returned to their human forms and ran inside of the mansion.
I sighed in exhaustion.
"They wearing you out?" Sebastian asked me as he was getting up.
"Maybe just a little," I replied with a laugh. Sebastian pulled me into his warm embrace and kissed the top of my head.
"Don't worry, Lady Elizabeth will be here soon to pick them up. It will be just you and me for a while."
"Mmm," I said inhaling his scent.
"Aunt Lizzy's here!" The children exclaimed. I lifted my head from Sebastian's chest and looked up to see Lady Elizabeth's carriage pulling up to the mansion.
"Right on time," Sebastian said. When the carriage was fully parked in front of the mansion, Lady Elizabeth came out and was greeted by the children.
"Hey guys! How are my favorite niece and nephew today?" She asked.
"We're good!" Isabella said.
"That's awesome!" Lizzy replied. "Are you all ready to go?"
"Yes!" They exclaimed in unison.
"Alright, go tell mommy and daddy bye."
"Bye mommy! Bye daddy!" They said pulling us in for a crushing hug.
"Bye you two. Be good for aunt Lizzy," I said.
"We will!" They exclaimed.
"Take good care of them Lizzy," Sebastian said.
"Don't you worry Sebastian. I am perfectly capable of taking care of them!"
"I know you are," he chuckled.
"Well, let's go kids," she said.
"Yay!" They exclaimed.
"I will have them back by 5:30."
"Sound good," Sebastian said, wrapping his arms around me from behind. Sebastian and I watch as Lady Elizabeth and the children drive away and out of sight.
"Are you ready to have some fun?" Sebastian smirked.
"Damn perv," I sighed. Sebastian just laughed.
