Barriers

Ciel Michaelis

   After a while, we stopped going through the portal and ended up in a rural area. I saw a large field in front of us and about 5 miles away the house i saw in my vision was standing, isolated from everything else. As I looked a bit closer i saw some invisible force surrounding the small country house.

"What is that?" I asked Lucifer.

"That my dear Ciel is a barrier. This particular barrier was meant to keep demons out. Jonathan probably knew we were coming and took precautionary measures." Lucifer explained. 

"How do we get to Daddy then?" Isabella asked.

"That, young lady, is going to take a few days. From what i can tell this barrier is a particularly strong and complicated one."

"A few days?" I asked. I felt my eyes water as I thought about the awful things Jonathan can do to Sebastian in that amount of time.

"I'm sorry Ciel, I have to find a way to get rid of the barrier without touching it. He can not be alerted of our presence and I have no idea what would happen to us if I did happen to touch it."

"I-I understand," I said, disappointment clear in my voice.

"Don't worry mommy, we will save him," Isabella said as her and Vladimir hugged me tightly.

"Damn right we will!!" Katherine exclaimed. "Ain't nobody about to mess with the Michaelis family anymore!"

"Katherine honey, calm down," Loretta said with a sigh.

"Sorry mother, I just want my brother back."

"I know sweetie, I want him back too."

Sebastian Michaelis 

  I slowly opened my eyes as I regained consciousness, my vision blurry and my head aching. As my vision cleared and my head felt more stable, I slowly sat up. Jonathan was nowhere in sight. Thank Lucifer for that. As i was becoming more fully awake I felt a strong presence in my mind. The presence was distressed and i could tell it was Ciel. I again focused my energy to try to find my love. Once I felt my presence touch his I pushed my thoughts towards him.

"Are you okay, my love?"

"Sebastian?! Is that you?"

"Of course it is my love."

"Oh Sebastian. I miss you so much! I'm so sorry! This is all my fault! If I hadn't-"

"Ciel, this is not your fault. Please, don't beat yourself up over this. I am assuming since i can feel your presence this strongly and am currently talking to you like this that you are very close by?"

"Yes. i can see the house from where I am at. We just have one problem."

"What is it?"

"That asshole put up a barrier! Lucifer said it is meant to keep demons out! He said it might take a few days to take it down... I can't get to you right away..."

"Oh... Damn. I didn't think he could do that."

"Sebastian, I miss you. I want to be with you again. Right now. I don't want to wait a few days" From the tone of his voice and the signals i was getting from our bond, i could tell that Ciel was crying.

"Shh. Don't Cry. We will be together soon. I have faith in you guys."

"Thank you Sebastian. I love you so much."

"I love you too, Ciel. I am starting to get weak from talking so long. I will have to go. I need to save my strength in case that bastard comes back. I love you so much and I will see you soon."

"Ok Sebastian. I will see you soon. Please, be careful."

"You too my love." After that I ended the connection. When I came to, I felt tears running down my face. Part of them was from sadness. I missed Ciel and the rest of my family so much. The rest of them was from happiness. They are so close. They are coming to save me. I will be reunited with my family soon and will not have to go through this torture anymore. I can't wait to be in Ciel's arms again. I can't wait to be tackled by the children as they smother me in hugs and kisses. I want my family again. In just a few days, I will be able to see them again. We will defeat Jonathan and everyone else will know...

A/N Holy shit did i just have two updates in less than a week 0_o Lmao surprise!! So I am going to camp tom- well today... dang i really need to not stay up this late before camp anymore... oh wait... this is my last year... *cries* but anyways I usually like to update the night before camp to keep my excitement down and because I will be gone for a week. Who knows, I might get bored at one point and decide to write another chapter in my notebook so I can go ahead and type it up on here ASAP. hopefully. But anyway I know this was short but i promise the next chapter will be longer. i have a lot of shizzle planned for this fanfic. Muahahaha!! So goodnight my peeps!! Sleep tight! And get your dogs vaccinated for the canine flu!! (Trust me, I work at an animal hospital and we have had a few cases and it is some serious shiz) Byyyyyeeeeeee!!~
