Terrance POV

"Hey, Prim?" I ask quietly as I walk into her room.  It's still early in the morning.

"Yeah." She responds.

"I'll be back in a few hours, I've got to go somewhere." I say.

"Okay," She mutters then lays back down, "See you later."

Surprisingly, she didn't ask me where I was going.  I really don't know how I would've replied.

I mean, I couldn't just say that I'm going to talk to Katniss, can I?

I think I know where she is right now.  Well I know where she is, she's in her quarters.  But where her quarters are, I can only guess.

I would think she would live in Prim's quarters, well her quarters when she gets better, so I check there first.

I recognize the woman that answers my knock as Prim's mother.

"Um, excuse me, but I'm Prim's friend and I just wanted to know if I could talk to Katniss for her." I say shyly.

"Uh, sure, hold on a second." Mrs. Everdeen replies, then yells for Katniss.

Katniss comes to the door and says, "Oh, you're the boy who was with Prim when you guys arrived."

"Yeah." I say looking at the ground.

"Come in then." Katniss says.

We sit at the tiny table that's located in everyone's quarters.

"I didn't get your name, what is it?" She asks.

"Terrance." I reply, playing with my hands.

"That's nice, so what do you have to say?" She asks.

"Well technically Prim never asked me to come and talk to you I just kind of felt the need to ya know, with her situation." I say.

"What situation?" Katniss asks, alarmed.

"Well in the Capitol they did something to her, they altered her memories." I explain.

"Is she okay?"

"Yeah. A team of doctors comes to her room everyday to giver her a sort of anti-venom. Yesterday, they showed her pictures from District 12. When they showed her the picture of you, she mutted." I explain even more.

"Mutted, what's that mean?" She asks about the made up word.

"It's a word Prim and I made up to describe what happens when the Capitol takes over."

"What happens?" She asks concerned.

"That's when she forgets. The altered memories sort of takeover." I explain.

"Okay, what else?" She asks.

"Well, yesterday after she mutted, she felt so bad that she said all of that. And I could tell she genuinely felt bad.

"Katniss she wants to see you but she can't. And I just wanted to let you know that I'm trying my hardest to get her back to you." I finish. I know that all probably sounded lame but I needed to say something.

"Terrance," Katniss says, "Please take care of her.  If you or Prim need anything I'm here."

"Oh yeah, I think Prim wanted to know what happened in eight." I mention.

"The Capitol bombed a hospital." Katniss sighs.

"Why would they do that?" I ask, looking at her.

"Boggs told me that they bomb places where there are large amounts of people because most times, they have no way of escaping." Katniss says, then her eyes widen.

"What?" I ask.

"They bomb places where there are large amounts of people," Katniss starts, "How many people are in thirteen, Terrance?"

"I don't know, a lot I think." I respond.

"Terrance, we're in danger. We have to go tell Coin."

And suddenly I get what she's saying. There are a lot of people in thirteen. Plus, we've got a big target over our head now that the mockingjay resides here.

Katniss is right, we are in danger.
