I wake up in a small cell, similar to the Capitol's, but this one feels more welcoming. Terrance is at my side, as always.
"Where's Katniss?" I ask, biting my lip.
"I dunno," he starts, "Last time I saw her was when we got here. In her quarters, I suppose."
"Quarters?" I ask.
"Yeah," he explains, "Each person or family's assigned a quarters which is basically a small house. They explained everything to me while you were asleep."
I nod my head and notice something on Terrance's arm, a tattoo of some sorts.
"What's that?" I question the thing.
"Oh, it's my schedule, tells me where I need to go today," He replies and shows me it, "That reminds me, you still need to get yours."
I look at my blank arm as he walks me to a small hole in the wall. I hesitate before putting my arm into it.
"Trust me, it doesn't hurt." Terrance smiles.
I put my arm into the hole and feel nothing. When I pull it out though I see a small bit of writing.
"Why's there so little?" I ask.
"I think it's because we've just arrived you know? They want to make sure we're okay before they give us a lot to do." Terrance replies.
He compares our schedules and sees that they're the same.
"Looks like we really don't have to go anywhere until lunch at noon," He announces, "Then after that we have to go down to the hospital wing to be evaluated. That seems to be it."
"So it's about 10:00 now," I say looking at the clock behind me, "We still have two more hours until lunch."
"What are we gonna do?" Terrance asks.
"I don't know about you, but I'm taking a nap." I respond.
