A little bit of fun (Ziall)

Chapter 12

"We talk to them...? Why?" I asked. I was shaking in fear now. It took me a lot of guts to hang out with Louis, Zayn and Justin, hell; it took me a whole bunch of guts to even look at them. How is Zayn expecting me to talk to the devil's council? "You're crazy"

"What?" Zayn looks taken back.

"Are you honestly asking me to face the devil's council? Zayn, if you're afraid of them then I should be too!"

"Well, what else can we do? Ask your dad for help so they can remove the sign off of Liam?" Zayn snapped. "As long as the sign is there, not only will they torture you and me, they're gonna throw Liam's soul into the pit of darkness"

I didn’t have to know what that pit of darkness was to know that I do not like it one bit.

"So what can we do?" I asked again.

Zayn sighed. "I told you, we have to talk to them. To convince them that if they let us go, we will not destroy the way of the world"

"I'm still confused" I sighed, I really am. "Why do they want us again?"

"Because I'm a devil and you're an angel, and worse of all, we're taking care of the same human so the devil's council's problem is that we might destroy the equilibrium between all of us. They think we're gonna start a war between angels and devils, and even worse, they think we're gonna make peace"

"What's wrong with peace?" Zayn stared at me like I was a 15 year old who doesn't know how to spell the word "dog". I blushed under his gaze. "I'm sorry okay? All I’ve been taught is that I should avoid devils as much as possible"

"Well, if devils and angels got into peace, that means we have to work together, and working together means we have to stop doing what we do and by doing that, we're destroying the entire planet" Zayn explained. I raised an eyebrow and urged him to go on. "Let's say, imagine a world full of chaos, we'll lose our worth and imagine a world with no chaos at all, none. Then the angels will have nothing to do anymore." 

"But how can our relationship ruin anything? We just wanted to go on dates and say I love you"

"Exactly, that's why we have to talk to them" Zayn said. 

Liam began to groan from where he was laying on my lap."What about him?" I asked.

"We'll have to keep an eye out for him at all times" Zayn groans and I glare at him. "What? I asked you out in vain hopes that I can have some alone time with you, its normal I get annoyed" 

I rolled my eyes. "What about me? How am I supposed to go to the devil's council?" 

"You need to hide your halo and your wings" Zayn said.

"How?"

Zayn thought for a while before coming back to focus again. "I know a guy. But I'm not sure if you'll like him"

"Who?"

"Justin"

I blinked. "What's wrong with him?"

Zayn shrugged. "Maybe you don't like him"

"He's okay" I said, trying to remember the last time we hang out. Well, he did try and force me to steal something but besides that and the continuous staring he seems okay.

"Okay" Zayn said whit pursed lips and the only thing that came afterwards was silence. Then it struck me.

"You're jealous" I teased. I was about to lean forward to peck his lips when he jerked away and looked everywhere but me. 

"No"

"You are! You were jealous back then and you're jealous now! I can't wait to see your face when we talk to him" I teased. I leaned forward again and when Zayn didn't move, I pinched his cheek, earning a glare from him.
