Chapter 7

Who else is Malum af??

Chloe's POV

    I startle awake and lean my head up from where I was leaning against the counter. None of it happened, Ashton didn't come and be my hero, we didn't kiss, it was all a dream. I start uncontrollably sobbing and go to clean myself up.

    I wash the now dry blood off of my wrist and put on my bracelets, checking my phone as I see I have numerous texts from all the boys asking if I was okay and apologizing for what Elizabeth had said. I have no idea how they got my number, I'll ask them later. Speaking of the Devils I got a text from Calum asking me if I wanted to hang out with them, I quickly replied with a yes so I can apologize for what I said to Elizabeth. I grab my keys and text my mom to let her know I'm hanging out with some friends today.

I ask for the address again because I don't quite remember how to get there and then I'm on my way. I show up at the house and timidly knock on the door. Michael is the one who answers it and we share a brief hug as I shuffle past him. I walk into the room and all conversation goes dead silent. I turn and meet a set of stone cold emerald green eyes, Elizabeth.

I automatically start apologizing profusely "I'm so sorry Elizabeth I don't know what came over me yesterday I was a total bitch and I'm sorry."

"Yeah" was all she said then she turned away.

"Okay then" I mutter underneath my breath.

I go and sit down next to Luke and ask what they're doing. They're just watching the nature Chanel, weird and boring but it's so adorable how excited luke gets about the Penguins in this episode. We watch penguins for another 20 minutes until I'm fed up and bored.

"Are there any parks around here?" I randomly ask.

"Yeah there's one right down the street" Michael replies.

"Who wants to go?" I ask now excited.

A chorus of yes' fill the room haunted by a single no, and guess who it came from.

"Parks are dirty and childish" she sneers

Ashton simply says "okay you can stay here"

She gasps and everyone in the room falls silent, feeling the awkward vibes roll off of them in toxic waves polluting the air.

"Let's just do something else Ashton I hate parks and you know that" she whines and when I say whine I mean she sounded like a three year old on the verge of a tantrum.

"We want to go to the park, you can stay here we are going to have fun." I just stood there gaping as the words left his mouth it was clear he had never told her no just by her reaction.

"Come on guys lets go" Elizabeth now looked fuming but one by one we filed out the door and began our adventure to the park.
