Corruption of the Heart

"I really hate being injured like this, but who I hate more is Yuka for causing me to be like this! Damn him for being able to defeat me with his wave magic. This means I will not be able to participate in the games any longer..." (Y/N) says, her fist slamming against the mattress she is sitting on in frustration.

Her loss against her former teammate, Yuka Suzuki, angers her to no end. She was happy to be participating in the Grand Magic Games after so long, but now she has ruined her chances.

The sulking expression on the (h/c) haired mage's face turns into shame as she tilts her head down, exposing the other presence inside of the infirmary room, "Master..."

In a spiral of shadows, Ryos appears inside of the darkness covered den, disappointment and anger directing towards his apprentice as he growls, "I give you one simple thing to do and you mess it up already!" He walks over to her bed, grabbing her chin forcefully, a deadly glare in place of his usual dark smile.

As he looks into her (e/c) eyes with his own blood red ones, the shadow dragon slayer snarls. He can see that the years of dark influence he has been putting into her heart is starting to fade. The darkness inside is slowly fading from the former lavender color into the golden shade it used to be.

'I cannot afford to be angry at her right now. I will just have to put more darkness into her heart the old fashioned way. It really is sad since she is the only person who understands me, but doing this will make her obey me,' Ryos thinks, mentally sighing at the circumstances he has to go to for (Y/N) not going back to the light.

Before she can plead her master for forgiveness, he places a hand onto her chest. Shadows surrounding his hand enter into (Y/N)'s chest, a loud pulsing sound echoes through her ears and heart. The bright shade of (e/c) her eyes are turn almost black, a lone tear sneaks out of the corner. The corners of her lips straighten out into a straight line.

Unwrapping the bandages around her body, (Y/N) kneels down onto one knee with her right arm laying against her chest with her fist clenched, "Master, punish me as you will for I have failed you. I did not win my last battle against Yuka Suzuki from Lamia Scale." Ryos smirks in satisfaction at the effection of the spell he casts, but it is thanks to his dragon supermacy magic that it works so well. 'Hm, at least dragon slayers are half dragon, so this will turn out perfectly,' He thinks.

"There is no need for a punishment right now, but all I need you to do is..." the dark mage whispers the rest into her ear and she nods, disappearing into a swirl of shadows.

Ryos looks out of the window attached to the infirmary room and laughs maniacally at the moon in the corner of the sky. Now, his plan will go perfectly! "Hahaha, oh this is all going as planned! Soon, the whole world will be under my rule!"

The light of Fiore slowly begins to fade into darkness...
