It was morning. A light rain drizzle was seen through the the boarded windows, and most people were complaining about how cold it was. Even I had to admit, I was cold, too. Avianna was sound asleep. However, the little girl was not around. I gently nudged Avianna, knowing how much of a heavy sleeper she was.

"Mmn..what?" She mumbled. "Where's that little girl?" I asked. Avianna turned her head, looking around. "I don't know, can you go look for her? I'm sorry, I'm just.... Really , really tired. I haven't gotten sleep for a while - before this." I nodded. "Sure, babe. Just stay there...okay?" "Will do,"

I stood up and parted my way from the crowd. "Lila!" I called, in a voice, trying not to disturb others. "Liiiiila," I wandered farther through, until I met a wall. A window was in front of me. I looked out the tiny hole in the barricade, wandering what was outside. There was a storm going on, and a few walkers. I turned my eye, and suddenly another's eye popped up. A walker. I jumped back, frightened. "Shit!"

"What is it?" I looked behind me, at Lila. "Oh, Lila. I was looking for you. Where have you been?"
"I wanted to find the playground."
I chuckled. "Sorry sweetie, there isn't a playground here." Lila frowned. "Oh..." She sighed. "Come on back with me," I instructed. "Mkay!" She replied. She danced her way back to the cot , where Avianna lay.
"I got her," I whispered to Avianna. A smile spread across her lips, as Lila wrapped her arms around her. I smiled. And at that moment, we were all smiling. It may seem cheesy, but a single smile is cherished to me, especially when there are walkers running the world - cherish everything .
