*Ethan's POV*
It's midnight and I just dropped off Nicole. I ran up one floor and unlocked the door to my apartment. When I open the door I find Grayson playing video games in the living room.
"Where have you been?" Grayson asked not breaking his eye contact with the screen.
"Out."
"With?"
"Nicole."
"What did you do?"
"I asked her out."
Grayson immediately paused his game and gave me that same look mom would give us when she was disappointed.
"What?" I asked confused.
"What did she say?" He spit.
"Yes..." I'm still lost.
"Oh my god Ethan. Why would you do this to this poor girl?"
"Im confused."
"What's there to be confused about!? Why would you ask out this girl right when we are about to seal the deal on this tour?"
"Oh um-"
"Not only that! She isn't gonna be in LA Forever. She lives in Georgia for Christ's sake!" Grayson is pacing around the room now.
"I'll figure something out." I really didn't think this through.
"No. You won't. You know why? Because long distance relationships never work. And the fans! You can't control our fans. Do you even realize how much hate she's gonna get? She doesn't deserve this, Ethan."
"Would you just shut up?! I really like her! Do you seriously think I would do this to her on purpose? You already made me feel guilty enough as it is. Just leave me be! I'll talk her? Ok!?" I stomp to my room and slam the door.
My super happy mood just dropped so fast.
*Nicole's POV*
After I closed the door on Ethan I slid my back down the door and sat on the floor with a goofy smile on my face. Then Kayla walked in and sat right next to me.
"Tell me everything." She commands. So I did. I told her how he took me on an adventure, how he confessed his feelings for me, and he asked me out.
"And what did you say?" She asks. I just gave her that look that says 'you were right this whole time.'
"WAS I RIGHT OR WAS I RIGHT!? HA!" She does her little dance next to me.
"You were right..." I roll my eyes and laugh."But I feel like I set myself up for heartbreak." I mumble.
"What?"
"Nothing it's just that... We aren't staying here very long, Kayla. It's probably not gonna work out after we get back home."
"Relax. You two still have another month and a half together. We'll figure it out."
"I really hope so."
•••The Next day•••
I woke up to a text from Ethan.
E: Good morning, girlfriend. Ah I love that word. 😋😍 Anyways come upstairs to our apartment. We need to talk.
