You Thought Wrong

Chapter 15

Ethan's POV

"BROTHER?! How was I supposed to know she had a brother?" I paced back and forth as I was telling Grayson everything that happened in the past hour. "Why wouldn't she tell me?"

"Well did you ask?" Grayson asked.

"No but.."

"Aha so the conversation never came up. There was never a need to mention her brother."

"Well yea but..."

"No! There's no buts here. This is your fault, not hers. You're the one who didn't trust her. You need to apologize."

"I can't! Every time I call her it goes straight to voicemail and I can't knock on their door or else I might get punched in the face by Aiden! Trust me you have not seen the size of this guy." My eyes grew wide at the thought of how scary he is. Like seriously what the hell does he do in his workout?

"Well why don't I go down there. I'll see what I can do." Grayson suggested.

"Thanks gray. Love you you bro"

Nicole's POV

Ethan won't stop freaking calling. I swear this just happened a couple of hours ago, why doesn't he understand that I don't want to talk to him right now. My thoughts are interrupted when I hear a knock at the front door. Assuming that's Ethan, I burry myself under the covers until he gets the message that I don't want to see him. I hear a muffled voice coming from the living room and i suddenly hear a loud thud. Aidens booming voice fills the apartment.

"DONT YOU EVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!"

I run outside to the living room to see what all the commotion is about and I see a bloody Grayson on the floor in the hallway, outside the door. Aiden was hovering over him.

"AIDEN WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?! I push him aside and I run to Grayson's side.

"Your poor excuse of a boyfriend tried showing his face here."

"Aiden this is not Ethan god damn it! This is Grayson! Jesus Aiden what has gotten into you?"

"Yo sorry man. You look exactly like your brother."

I send Aiden a deadly glare and help Grayson up.

"It's fine. I get it. We're twins. It was just a misunderstanding. Guess my brother would have deserved that." He chuckles.

I sit Grayson down in the living room and get a wet cloth for his bloody eye. Aiden then walked back to his room to give us some privacy.

"I'm so sorry about my brother. He's real overprotective. Ethan had him worked up." I laugh nervously, dabbing his eye with the clothed. He winced from the pain.

"Yea... About that..."

"Ugh I should've known you came down to talk about Eth. Listen I really don't want to think about him right now."

"He feels really bad you know." He states ignoring what I just told him.

"Well he should be. I swear we just started dating like.. What? Two days ago!? And he already accuses me of cheating. Like who does that?"

"Well in all fairness, he didn't know you had a brother."

"It never came up..." I defend.

"That's what I told Ethan. But please Nicole, give Ethan a little mercy and listen to what he has to say. There's more things he should really talk to you about other than just apologizing. I really think you should just hear him out."

"What else would he have to talk to me about?" I ask nervously.

"I really think it should come from him." He gives me a sympathetic smile. He gets up and walks out the door leaving me curious.

I walk back to my room and dial up Ethan's number, unprepared for what he was about to say.

Okay I know short chapter but I really needed to update.

Plus I have this other book now which y'all should really check out. It's called Common Ground.

But anyways I know it's been forever since the last time I updated, but I've just been out of town with really sucky Internet, and now I have to finish up all my damn summer assignments so I'll start updating more when school starts.
