I got home from school today, and I was home alone. I recieved a text from my mom Alissa. I'm from Georgia, and life sucks here.

Anna, we'll be home late, okay? Eat. There's a lot of food there. If you want someone to come over, call your aunt Betty. Love you.

I didn't reply back, and sat on the couch. I placed my feet on the table. I texted Dani, my friend who lives next door. We're both fifteen years old, and we're both bubbly people. My friend Jasper texted me, well, not just a friend, the boy who has a crush on me.

I smiled, looking at the text message.

Jasper: Mind if I text you? Bored here in the house :)

Me: Sure. Skype?

Jasper: Okay.

Then he called me on Skype. We chatted for hours.

"So, what are you doing?" He asked.

"Nothing. How about you?" I asked back.

"Talking to you." He said.

Suddenly, I heard someone. It was a girl's voice. Pssst. That was the sound. I looked around, and was glad I saw no one. I was wondering where the sound came from. Maybe it was just my imagination. I opened the TV, so it could be more cheerful.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Nothing." I said, as I smiled.

Then, Jasper had this weird face, like he has seen a ghost. He was looking somewhere behind me.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Anna, are you sure you're home alone?" He asked back, with a scared face.

"Yeah. Why?" I said, as I made a mysterious face.

"There's----" then my laptop lagged. It shutted down by itself. I didn't know why, but all I knew was Jasper with a weird look on his face. I placed my laptop on the couch, and took a deep breath. It was nothing, Anna. It was nothing. Don't scare yourself. I whispered to myself. Suddenly, something pulled my hair, someone was behind me! I was pretty shocked, it made me stand up.

There was no one, but that thing that pulled my hair, was strong. My head hurt. And then, I heard whispers, all over the house.

Anna. Anna. Come with us. Come. Come. Come. Anna. Anna. Dead. You're already dead. Anna. Come.

There was more than a voice. It were more than three voices.

They whispered and whispered. And 'they' were hurting my ears. They whispers were deadly. They wanted to kill me. Even if I covered my ears, the whispers kept whispering.

The whispers stopped, but now, there was a girl, running around. I followed her, as she walked in the kitchen. Then she walked in the dining area, then went upstairs.

I was scared, but I told myself not to. I was shaking, but I still followed her.

She went in my room, went in my closet, and faced the wall. It was strange. Seeing a creepy girl in the house without hearing the front door open? Or either the back door? Strange. This was something I could never forget.

I was deciding if I'll make her turn around and see her face or scream at her. It's a little but stupid idea to scream at her. Finally, I wanted to see her. And that was my decision. As I was about to touch her, she spoke up.

"Hello."

She faced me, scared me to death. She was very pale, and she has no eyes. She wore a white dress, long white socks and black shoes. Her hair was back, but has curly parts on the ends. She screamed, as I moved backwards, until I accidentally got tripped by a can, and fell. I knocked out, and everything went black.

A while after, I woke up, and I was in the hospital, confined in the bed. There was a somekind of a bandage around my head. I think I hit my head when I fell. Mom and dad was beside me, asleep. I didn't wanna wake them up, so I waited for them. I looked up the ceiling. I remembered the girl. I didn't know what happened to her after I fell.

Then I heard a psst. Again. I looked in front, and saw the girl from the house. I shrieked, as mom and dad woke up.

I blinked, and she disappeared. I didn't know she was just a vision. I didn't talk for days, I just kind of got into shock. That day was the last day she showed up.

Years passed, and I was already twenty five years old. I live in a penthouse, in the city. My dad died two years ago, because of a heart attack. My mom is now confined in the hospital, fighting breast cancer for six months. Now, I'm an archaeologist, I travel around the world, discover things. I became famous, because of my books. My boyfriend, who was Jasper, is an actor. We had a sucessful future and life.

One night, both of us visited my mom in the hospital. She was weak, dying and sad. But she was happy for us, though. She wanted Jasper to marry me when I turn twenty-six next year. Mom cried, and made me cry too.

"Anna, keep it up, okay? Don't let my death let you down." She cried.

I shook my head. "You're not gonna die mom. Don't." I said.

"I think it's my time." She whispered, then smiled at me. She faced te ceiling, breathed deeply, and closed her eyes. She stopped breathing. Her heart wasn't working anymore.
