Breanna took a deep breath and fell back in her bed. She had absolutely no desire to get out of bed. It wasn't like anyone was there that really understood or cared.

She had her family. Her mom, step-father and grandma cared about her but they would never understand. Breanna's grandma was catholic and her mom christen too but even though she wanted to believe, no matter what happened there was always a part of her that knew it wasn't completely true.

Breanna sat up and grumbled as she looked at her fit bit and saw the time. She had to get ready or she would be late for her first day at a new job.

She flopped back on the bed one last time and stared at the ceiling. " If only I could just wave my hand and have money."

She laughed a little and got up. Days went by one after another, the same as the one before it. One day she couldn't stand it and went back to her little haven on the cliff and looked up into the gentle clouds. She watched them pass in silence, feeling the wind in her hair again.

"I know that there is more then this life. Tell me why, I can feel the energies connecting everything and I can feel the presence of something larger then life but yet every time I try to believe in god it fails... What's the truth about this world and the next?" Breanna sighed. "I'm tired of just going through the motions. There's more to life then this and I want to embrace it but I don't know how." She looked down, watching the flowers.

She reached out and touched a purple flower, a single Saffron: a flower that meant wisdom and light. She thought the flower was pretty but didn't understand the meaning behind the simple flower. "I just want to be with people who believe what I do.... but what even is it I believe."

"Breanna?" A familiar voice spoke out breaking her out of her thoughts and she jumped, accidentally breaking the flower from it's stem. She spun around meeting eyes with one of her coeworkers. She instantly relaxed, it wasn't her parents so she was okay. "You know about this place?"

"Yeah, I come here whenever it becomes to much at home. When I come out here I feel right and connected to everything else."

"I know what you mean. The presence of the Lord and Lady is really strong here." Breanna looked up at her coeworker in wonder.

"Lord and Lady?"

"Yep! The divine are present in everything and everyone though this is a place of power. It's natural to be drawn to it." She sat down beside Breanna and set her bag down. It was then that Breanna noticed what her coeworker looked like.

She looked like a goddess, siting proudly as the wind blew her long hair gently around her shoulders. She wore a flowing black skirt and a matching top, both adorned with a symbol that looked like a full moon with a crescent moon on either side. She had her eyes closed as if she had nothing better to do then feel the wind in her hair and sit amongst the flowers.

Breanna saw the whole picture in perfect clarity, as if the moment was spoken to her alone. Breanna couldn't stop looking at the girl in front of her, this was the kind of strength she had always dreamed of.

"Elizabeth?" the girl opened her eyes and smiled softly.

"So you don't entirely believe in what your family does?" Breanna flinched as she realized that Elizabeth had heard her prayer.

"Yeah, something about it just feels fake."

"But you believe in the energies that connect us all and a higher being, you even treasure the life of the small flower in your hand." Breanna looked down. She hadn't realized she had plucked the flower off its stem and she instantly felt bad. The poor thing didn't get to live it's full life because of her heavy hand.
