I felt bad for pushing Cassandra away. To be honest, I felt wrong. Half of my heart says she is right. I shouldn't set myself in fire for someone who watches me burn. But I believe that Matt, still loves me. And he will always do. But Cass is my friend. It's my fault for pushing her away when she's really trying to help me, and making me feel better for myself. It was 10 in the evening, and she's not yet inside of our room. I should talk to her, and apologize.

I went to the garden, because I know she will be there.

''Cass'' 

''What are you doing here?'' she said

''Look, I'm so so sorry, I didn't mean to push you away, I appriciate everything you did for me, and thank you for being good and being there for me, Im just so sorry for what happened tonight. '' I added

''You didn't mean it? Really? I've been there for you through your darkest times, then you'll just push me away?! I'm sorry that I'm sensitive, I over think every little thing, and I care too much! And I'm sorry for being a good ''advice'' friend who's been there for you and a friend who doesn't want you to cry over and over! Be careful Katherine, for the words you will say. A friend who guides you so you won't have to feel stupid and a fool in the end is rare'' Cass cried

'' Cass, you're being pathetic!'' I shouted

''Pathetic? Now I'm the pathetic? Someday you'll realize how fool you've been. And you'll know I'm right!'' 

''Cass. Stop! Matt loves me! He does! He told me that he loves me''

''Katherine, you're making yourself a fool!''

''No! I'm not! He told me that he loves me! And he will never leave me! That he will marry me!'' I cried

'' Never leave you? Do you think he was honest when he said he wont leave you? Because if it's true why do you think you're missing him? Why do you think he is not here? Because he left! He lied!'' she shouted

''No! Cass! He left for study!'' I said

''Yeah! But he told you that he won't leave you! RIGHT?'' 

''Cass. STOP! Stop pretending to be a supportive friend okay?! You're not helping me! I said while walking away.

''Katherine'' 

''What!?''

''Let me tell you a very sad story, she believed in his lies.'' Cass said, then she walked away.

I cried in my room. I cried so hard. Then I received a message, from Matt.

''Katherine, I'm busy'' 

''Help me. I don't know what to do'' I replied

''What? What Happened?'' he asked

''Me and my best friend had a fight and I don't know what to do''

''Why did you guys fight?''

''My love about you'' I replied

''That is so pathetic''

''Help me'' 

''I can't, I'm not good at fixing things. But I love you, forget your friend she's a bad influence in your life.'' he replied

''I can't do that to her, she's my friend. She helped me a lot''

''Well you choose to move on on your life, or cry over a stupid little thing.''

''Mat, I love you'' I replied, I wanted him to say i love you too but again waited for nothing.

Matt gave me 2 choices, to cry over Cass or to move on. And I chose to go on in my life, if Cass wants me to be her bff, she should understand some parts of me  that are dramatic nor even stupid.

*school bell*

''Katherine, where's Cass?'' Elijah asks

''We had a-''

''A?'' 

''A fight'' I continued

''Wha- Why?''

''Long story. But It's okay, I'm not going to worry about little pathetic things.'' I said while walking away.

After Matt's pep talk, or pep text, I felt fine. Really.

''Wait! Katherine..'' Elijah shouted

''What?'' I asked him

''Where's Cass?'' 

''I don't know! And I don't care!'' 

''Kath, this isn't you!'' he said

''Kath? Where did that came from?'' I laughed

''You've changed'' 

''No I didn't''

''Yes you did''

''If you're in Cass' side, I don't care! I don't freaking care!'' I shouted

''This is not the Katherine I used to know'' he said

''Yeah, what?'' 

''The Katherine I know is-''

''Weak! I know I was weak before! I cried every night thinking that Matt doesn't love me anymore! Cass making me a fool! I was a fool and weak before! Well now I'm not!'' I said

''Yes you we're weak and a fool before..'' *i smiled* '' You we're all that because of Matt'' he added

''What do you mean?''

'' Because he left, that's why you're weak and you we're a fool because you believed that he loves you..that he still loves you'' he said

''You know Elijah, you've changed too, the old you would never say that! Where's the old Elijah? The one who comforts me? Where?!Oh I forgot, even the old Elijah never comforts me'' I shouted

''He is still here, also being dumb, but I think the old Elijah doesn't want to see you anymore! He left, like everyone who loved you, they always leave''

''Yeah, that's  really great! Because I never want to see him again!''

''It's hard to adjust to this reality of looking at you and seeing a stranger once again'' he said..then he walked away.

I started crying again, but I can't let them tear me down, so I didn't cry, I ate lunch by myself, I admit, I felt sad without them, I felt sad because of what Elijah said because maybe he is right. I heard that Cassandra is staying with her sister's friend from Germany, named Kirsten Dorn .

While I was inside of my dorm, laying down alone, I was listening to my favorite song, from Kodaline, All I want. As I listened, The tears fell. The song was speaking with my heart. It's like we're having the same situation. The song says..

When you said your last goodbye, I died a little bit inside. I lay in tears in bed all night....Alone without you by my side.

Then the chorus starts, I cried much harder..

I continued the song, while crying....'' Take my body, Take my body. All I want is, and all I need is to find somebody, I'll find somebody..like you '' I cried 

I repeated the song over and over, and I cried over and over.
