I laughed as Zayn and I both came out of the dressing rooms wearing hilarious clothes. We were wt the Theatre Store in the mall where we had planned to eat. Our lunch had turned into a movie, corn dogs, and shopping. Plus just a little bit of goofing around... Or maybe a lot.
Anyways, I was in a space suit with bright red lipstick, a hula skirt on top of the suit bottoms, and a flower lei around my head. Zayn, however, was in a neon orange dress, basketball shoes, a sweatband on his head and wrist, plus a basketball in his hand.
The way the store worked was you'd go up to an employee, say a character, and they make you look like that. "Space hula dancer!" He guessed at my outfit which I nodded to.
"Hmm... Basketball prom?" He smiled a goofy grin.
"Close, I was dance princess of basketball."
"Nice!" We high-fived before changing back into our clothes and exiting The Theatre Store. "Where to next?" I asked in curiosity.
"I'm a little thirsty... Want to go get some smoothies at The Smoothie Shack?" I nodded enthusiastically before we headed out.
Right when we got there, my phone beeped and I pulled it out from my back pocket. Zayn watched me closely to try and read my face. I sighed and shook my head as I read the letters displayed on the screen.
"Homework Alert,I have to be back at my dorm soon." He laughed at me and I threw him a glare.
"You set an alarm for school work?" He laughed even more before ordering our smoothies to the annoyed cashier. We left the line and he still continued to laugh.
"Hey! Some of us don't get paid millions of dollars to do our passion!" I was really frustrated at him and how lucky he was. "The only way I can get a job to pay enough money to take care of a family is to get through college!" I yelled.
"But, what family will you have when you're always at school? You need to go out and live eventually." He was suddenly serious and I felt my stomach turn. He was right. What kind of family would I ever have when I only cared about my grades?
I suddenly felt sick as I came to the realization I would never meet a marriageable guy. I looked up at Zayn who's eyes showed what appeared to be sympathy. "Oh, god." I muttered before running to the nearest bathroom.
"Rosy? Are you okay?" I could tell he was out the door but holding it slightly open to tell in. I hurriedly went inside a stall before I started to hyperventilate. "Rosy?"
"Just... Go home Zayn! If you need me I'll be at the pet store buying my 15 cats!"
I heard a loud sigh from him before he said quietly but loud enough for me to hear, "Rosy, I think we both no I'm not letting you go back alone... I'm coming in!" I heard the door open completely and footsteps on the bathroom floor.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked in a little bit of shame and embarrassment.
"Because I care about you Rosy. You mean a lot to me." I smiled at his words and felt my heart flutter. There's a marriageable guy just outside that stall door, I just need the guts to let him know what I'm feeling.
"Do you think there's a chance I've already met the guy to have a family with?" Oh gosh, that was too blunt! He'll know everything now!
"I don't know... I hope so, because I thought I met a girl to have a family with already." Who is he talking about? Oh I'm gonna hurt her so hard! "Rosy, I think we need to talk... Face to face, not face to door to face."
I smiled and let out a little giggle, "That would be nice." I opened the door and he smiled at me. "I think we should get out of here too." He smiled before grabbing my wrist and pulling me out of the bathroom.
"I'll go get our smoothies." Zayn said before walking back to the small store and I followed slowly falling behind.
He came out moments later and handed me my banana smoothie. "I'll take you back to your dorm, but the boys and I were going to go out to dinner so you'll be alone for a bit."
I nodded. "I think I could use some alone time." But he had no idea why...
When I was finally alone in my dorm, after calling everyone who would show up here somehow and telling them not to, I sat in peace. I finally had some time for myself, not anybody else. Just quality Rosy time!
Yeah this was boring... I decided to do what I actually wanted to be alone to do.
So I set up my video camera.
A/N: Hmm... What's she gonna do? Sorry it's so short I just wanted you to be left on a cliffhanger... Enjoy! Find forget to follow me as well!!!
