Author Notes =)

Hi guys, this is my first ever book I’ve ever written and obviously, I’m extremely new to Wattpad. So, I don’t really know how to function this whole thing, and I’m trying my best to do best out of it. I have been reading other people’s fan fics and I think it’s time for me to try it myself. I know my spelling and grammar sucks because obviously, I’m not from the UK or the US, so if I have any mistakes, please please please tell me, I really do want to improve on my English. So this is the end of my long author notes and lets go to the story =)

Chapter 1

Arriana’s POV

Tomorrow is the day, Tracy told me that there will be a new couple who wants to adopt me, this is the third time and I am dreading to it. I have been through a tough childhood, my dad was an alcoholic, and my mum was a gambler, I’ve never seen them much since I was born, or to be saying the truth, I had only seen them twice, that’s when I was born and when they had gotten rid of me, placing me in front of the orphanage and leaving me there.

I was adopted by two different families, but I hadn’t been living in any of those for a long time. The first family that had adopted me had already got two children, the couple couldn’t even spare a minuet to take a look at me, the two “step sisters” had been bullying me since the day I was adopted, they teased me, grabbed my hair, kicked me, throwing trash at me. I looked very different from them, they wore nice clothes and I was given rags, they made me look like a beggar, not giving me food until I begged for some.

The second family was better, but I still haven’t got a place to call home, I don’t feel save at the place, they treated me like their own children, but I didn’t get used to it and freaked out before they even have a chance to approach me. I left before they even noticed. I practically ran from the house but I ended up bumping into one of the people working at the orphanage, so I was stuck there until now, I haven’t been trying to escape, but I don’t feel at home anyways.

I was woken up by the alarm going off on my phone. I was the first to wake up, so I took my clothes and headed to the bathroom, I took a quick shower and dressed up in all black. I wanted to try my best to be staying at the orphanage rather than being at a new house.

“Hi there, Arriana, the family is here to pick you up”

“Thanks Kate, I’ll pick up my bag and leave”

Kate is a friend of mine, she is another orphan living here, we share the same birthday, even our age is the same.

“I’ll miss you Arriana”

“I’ll miss you too Kate”

I hugged Kate and said our final goodbyes before I left the orphanage.
