I'm so sorry for posting this chapter late. I'm a professional procrastinator so deal with it. Anyway this chapter will contain smut. You are all warned kids.

George and Caspar returned back from South Africa after a week. Caspar immediately ran to his room feeling jet lagged. George on the other hand was used to frequent air flights and decided it would be best to just talk to his family. Unfortunately Theo was out of the house and Emily was busy in a party as she is the social butterfly.

George sat down in the comfortable armchair and picked up a newspaper from the coffee table. He started reading the newspaper feeling at ease and at peace. There were no phone calls which would disturb him, no tension at all.

Joe took a deep breath before proceeding near his master with a glass of water in his hand. It was his job to take care of the family but this would only be his second meeting with George and the old man somehow frightened him to death.

Joe nevertheless faked a smile and walked further ahead. He saw George attention turn from the newspaper to Joes face. George smiled at him, this made Joes fake smile to turn into a genuine one, he liked when people smiled more than frowning. He was taught to always smile no matter how hard life is it proved that the person was contend with his life.

Joe spoke softly "I hope you had a nice flight Mr. Lee, it would be good if you drink a glass of water won't it ?" He felt George aww with his action. This was the worst thing about his shyness, no matter how mature he might be at mind his small body and awkwardness made everyone's heart melt. It was also good in some sort of a way.

"It is lovely to see you again ermm... What was your name again young lad" the last part was said with utter confusion in his tone.

"It's Joseph but I prefer Joe" joe spoke happily solely because he was happy that his master wanted to talk about him.

George sipped the water and set the glass down. He then turned his attention from Joe and then back to the newspaper. Joe took this opportunity to go back to his room but then Georges voice stopped him. "So Joe let's talk, how was your day"

Joe turned around to face George. He could see the mans eyes fixed to the newspaper but his eyebrows raised. Joe is and has always been the mood lifter. He then spoke "it was good, just some casual weird stuff"

George kept his paper down and stared at Joe. "Like what ?" "Like I saw those old maids flirting with the cook, I was just cleaning the kitchen counter and was trying not to laugh out loud because they were not doing a good job" George stared for a more time but then started chuckling and then laughing his ass off. It had been a long time since he heard something funny so even this little statement put a smile on his face.

"Oh really Joe !!" Joe nodded and opened his mouth to speak that he would be headed to his room but was cut off by George. "Come Joe sit down and tell me more about your life. The way you said it was soooo funny" George dragged out the word 'sooo' and motioned Joe to sit down in the couch beside the armchair he was sitting on. George was still chuckling.

Joe wanted to refuse but was again cut off by George "just sit" Joe sat down on the couch and felt suddenly uncomfortable, George might have noticed it and then said in a soothing tone "make yourself comfortable, this house is all yours."

Joe was reminded of his very own daddy looking at George's action. He felt like saying it to George and opening himself to someone else other than Zoë. He pulled of a serious face and hung his head down "may I say something Sir ?"

Georges reply was quick and positive "go on Joe, think of me as a friend and speak your heart out" Joe looked up and smiled again "You remind me of my father" he saw George tilt his head in confusion. Joe sucked a deep breath and continued "My father was funny, supportive and inspiring just like you. However God always prefer having good things to himself so he simply took Dad away from our lives too".
