Non-Platonic (A Jaspar Fanfic)

Chapter 3

For everybody else Joe acted normal. He smiled to each and everyone, greeted them with happy eyes and talked like a normal person. Theodora, George and Emily thought that it was just joes normal behaviour and continued their work.

What they did not realise was that Joe was ignoring Caspar. Ignoring means not even smiling at Caspar (something which Joe did quite often) Joe did all that work Caspar told him to do but avoided any type of eye contact whatsoever.

And of-course Caspar noticed it. It drove him insane how he wanted to have conversation with Joe but the boy acted as if he did not hear anything. This 'acting' will do nothing but question his father which is obviously not a good sign.

Thankfully George didn't notice anything. At lunch time when the whole family sat down together to have some 'quality time' as said by Caspar's mom. Joe came to serve that food to each and every one.

Joe set the plates down in front of each and everyone's seating area but nobody said thank you to him as they were busy chatting with each other. Caspar noticed this though his ears were all open the family discussion. As soon as his lunch on the table Caspar sweetly said "Thank you Joe".

He expected Joe to say "your welcome" or Atleast smile but he was shocked to see Joe giving him the death stare.

What has Happened to him ? Did his heart harden like his member yesterday or what ?

Caspar did get scared seeing Joe all intimidating. It is not a very usual sight to see. Caspar tried to understand what the fuck had he done wrong. Joe was the one who wanted to give him a blow job then why was he reacting in such a way.

Caspar was thinking deeply about this and Joe had returned to the kitchen, Georges voice cut off Caspar's mind.

George was frantically screaming out Joes name. Caspar decided to pay close attention on what his father was about to say/do. Joe entered the dining room again, his hands wet and soap all over them. George stood up and wrapped his right arm around Joes shoulder.

Caspar, Emily and Theo just quietly watched the two. Joe himself seemed confused about the matter. Emily then spoke up "what is it that is so important and that it includes Joe ?"

George smiled at Joe which called that latter to do the same doubtedly. George then said "Take Joe as a part of your family" This made everyone gasp.

George then spoke up about the conversation he had with Joe a few days ago, what Joe had told George about his dad and his dead mom and told them that this was the reason Joe was working here.

Theo interrupted her Dad by speaking "I knew about this, I've talked to his sister before" Theo smiled at Joe. Joe replied "and Zoë and I would be forever grateful for giving this job"

George then ended by saying "I felt pity for him and now I want myself and everyone to treat him like a part of this family. As a son in myself and Emily's eyes and as a brother in Caspar's and Theo's"

Joe frowned and wanted to speak up about how he did not wanted things to change in the family but then was cut off by Caspar's sharp disinterest ing tone. "This is absolute bullshit !!"

Emily glared at Caspar and warned "mind your language Caspar" Caspar stuck his tongue out in shame and continued "A random stranger just comes and says that his father his dead and we all believe him. Isn't it possible that this guy is lying ? Isn't it possible that he just wants to get into our privacy and steal all our money"

And for the first time Caspar had made sense. The Lee's didn't know anything about that guy. Heck they did not even knew what his previous profession was. All they knew that he was a innocent looking boy who was a servant in their house.
