Finally catching up to the girl that has brought back his curiosity of this world, Jack Kingsly, bends down and pants for air in front of his main house or more like mansion's entrance door.
"I win. You have to do anything that I tell you to do without any kind of objection, don't you dare forget." Roxie Q. Grey announced with victory overflowing her system. She took out a phone from her back pocket and tapped a few things on it. Meanwhile, Jack was wondering how she still had a working phone on her after falling into the sea. That was when Roxie held out the phone towards him and said, "Here is your phone back thanks for letting me use it." She finished it with a wink and opened the entrance door like it was her own house. Jack shocked at how she was able to take his phone without him even realizing, calls after her, "I didn't let you and you know it." He simply hears Roxie's soft laugh as he follows behind her. Not liking that he was following her even though it was his house, he walked past her and decided to be the one leading the way for what she possibly couldn't know the way around his private house, right?
He was about to head to the direction of the office to discuss this so called proposition when Roxie stopped in her tracks and said, "Can we not go to the office, I would prefer the living room. If you haven't noticed, I'm still rather in an uncomfortable state." Jack looks her up and down and notices that indeed she still had damp her and was still in her top that was sticking to her skin rather tightly. He cleared his throat, changed the way they were going to the living room, and said to Roxie without looking back at her, "Your uncomfortable state is rather eye catching." She simply laughed and replied, "I don't mind your eyes on me as long as it will help you sign the deal faster." Taking this at his chance, Jack decided to question her relationship with the stabbed guy. "You wouldn't mind, but wouldn't that guy mind?" There was no answer, so he decided to look back towards her. What he saw he had not expected to see. Roxie Q. Grey was blushing at his question. He said no more and neither did she as they reached the living room.
In the living room a maid was setting tea and some snacks when they walked in. Jack smiled widely at the presence of the middle aged maid, and as he took his seat asked, "Mrs. Ranks it's been a while. I haven't seen Wilson around much even though we go to the same school now. I think he is avoiding me now that he is a big guy." The maid giggled and replied, "He wouldn't do such a thing, but he seems to have gotten himself busy with part-time jobs. He hates me working as you know." "He really loves you dearly Mrs. Ranks, please take good care of yourself or he will seriously hunt me down and beat me to death childhood friend or not." The maid smiles back widely and replies, "He might actually do that, I am all he has left." With simply that she left the living room.
Turning his attention back to his guest, Jack watches as Roxie covers herself with a nearby blanket and starts sipping her tea complimenting it as she had her first taste. Jack follows suit and drinks his tea when both of them are done, he puts away his soft demeanor and calls out for Ben. Ben, his secretary, appears as if on standby and places Roxie's proposition on the coffee table before leaving the two alone once again. Wasting no time, he begins reading through it as Roxie simply observed his reading face with a smile on her own face.
Finished with his reading and assessment of the deal, he puts it back down and letting out a sigh questions, "So all you want is for me to be involved in the club activities and to lend my name whenever needed so that you could get some lean way, special treatment, and support in certain circumstances, did I summarize it properly?" Feeling warm enough, she lets go of the blanket and replies, "Yeah, expected no less from the country's youngest billionaire businessman." Jack smirks and says back, "You already know my answer don't you?" she simply nods, so he continues, "then let me ask you something before I sign this deal." She nods once again, so in he asks his question with his business poker face, "How long have you been studying me?" The question brings up a little smile to Roxie's face as she replies, "Does it really matter, Jack Kingsly who has a sister complex?" This causes Jack to clench his jaw as he said back in a low voice, "I do NOT have a sister COMPLEX." Roxie raises up her hands in defense and says back, "Oh sure sure whatever you say. I'm going to see how Max is doing." "I will be right with you after signing and finalizing this deal." Jack says to the already leaving Roxie. When she was completely out of his view, he called Ben in and tasked him with digging more into Roxie Q. Grey. For what he had a feeling that this girl was more than what she seemed. It would be best if he kept a distance from her, but she knew him too well. There was no way he would pass up on a deal such as the one she presented that had all the things he loved. He had to hand it to her, she had done her homework on him quite well. Now all he wanted to know was what exactly is this club.
