I'm Sorry -Chapter 4

Chapter 4

<JJ's POV>

My vision was foggy. My memory wasn't clear. My body felt weak. I was so confused, I didn't know what happened but I....I don't know. "JJ, wake up honey." I think it's Will. "Where am I? What happened? Am I ok?" I asked in such confusion. "It's ok JJ. You came home sick from work and fainted. You're in the hospital but your gonna be fine." Will says reassuringly. I remember a little more now. I feel better. I just rested in the bed for a while. A few minutes later Will brought Henry in. He jumped onto the bed with me with a big smile on his face. He was so adorable and I hate the days I don't see him but he is always so happy and joyful when I do see him and I love it. It makes me so happy and it always makes me smile. We were getting ready to leave the hospital. I felt a billion times better than I did before. The best thing was I got to hang out with Henry all day! We went to the Zoo and he had a blast! And so did I. These moments are the ones I treasure. I barely ever see my little baby and it always makes me feel like my job isn't worth it. We go home at the end of the day. I called Hotch to see how the case went today. "We found 3 out of 5 girls alive along with the unsub," Hotch says. "Oh thats great!" I say with a smile on my face. "I heard what happened today..." Hotch says. "Oh don't worry about it I was just tired and a little sick but I feel much better now," I say. "Ok then I will see you tomorrow," Hotch said. "Ok see you then," I say while hanging up the phone. I really didn't want to go to work again tomorrow but I knew even if I was late I would be in trouble.

*after work the next day*

Work went pretty well today. We had a local case so we didn't go far. I got home and it was just Henry and his babysitter. I paid her and gave Henry a big hug. "I love you mommy," Henry says hugging me tighter. "Aw sweetie I love you too," I say with such joy. I made Henry dinner since Will was working late today. We had pancakes for dinner because I know how much Henry loves them. But something weird happened. I couldn't stop eating them. It wasn't because they were so good or I was so hungry. It was like...when I found out I was pregnant with Henry...
