The months passed by like a speeding car and by now my belly was big and round. The entire neighborhood had found out that I was pregnant and they made me feel even worse with the things they said. One of my neighbors said she knew that it was going to happen, another said that I wasted my life, another said I was stupid for getting pregnant and on and on they went but with the love and support of my good friends and family, I managed to keep my ears closed from all the negativity. My mother and father learned to accept things for the way it was and they were now super excited to meet their first grandchild.

I was seven months now and it was time for my ultrasound to see what was the sex of my baby. I was so nervous to find out as I was longing for it to be a girl and  as I waited patiently, mum and Josh kept my company with their jokes. Not too long after, it was my turn to go in and Josh came along with me. The nurse instructed me to take off my shoes, lay on the bed and pull my shirt over my belly and so I did. She then put and cold gel on my stomach which helped to let her see what was going on inside of me. After, some minutes of trying to find to find the private part, she finally asked if we were ready to find out. I quickly said yes and she told us that we were going to have a healthy baby boy. I was kind of disappointed at first, but I was glad my baby boy was healthy and that he was a part of me.

When I was done freshening up, we went outside and told mum that she was going to have a healthy grandson and she seemed to be more excited than we were. I couldn't wait for him to come, so I could hold him in my arms and kiss him with all the love I have within me. Oh how I wished the months would pass by fast but the last three months seemed to drag. Mum came to the decision that I should have a baby shower and so we got down to planning right away, writing down a list of the people who would be coming, ordering food and going out to buy decorations.
