A/N: I wanna dedicate this chapter to @belwatson...cuz she it's the one to help out with my story, she didn't tell me what to write she just tools me how to update...so she it's gonna have her own character I'm this one

"I'm sorry miss Hemley but your parents were in a car crash" the police officer said with a look that was telling me he was really sorry

"well are they okay" I said already knowing what was gonna come but I just didn't want it to

Tears were now forming into my eyes as the police officer stood there for a few seconds with sorrow in his eyes

"I'm sorry miss Hemley, I wish I could've helped, but by the time we got there they weren't breathing" he said feeling sorry for me "turns out they were instantly killed by the truck that had hit them" he said

By now I was sobbing and balling my eyes out while my friend was hugging me while I cried on her shoulder, soaking her shirt

"I'm so sorry Marissa" my friend Aleasha said to me while rubbing my back with her right hand and stroking my hair with her left hand

"miss Hemley I'm so sorry for your loss, but we have to put you in foster care" the police officer said to me with sorrow in his voice this time

My head shot up at him and my friends eyes were wide opened, surprised

"what do you mean you have to put me in foster care?" I asked the police officer, crying even more

"no need to be rude officer, but can't Marissa stay here with me, I can take care of her and everything" my friend Aleasha added

"I'm sorry, but your not a relative and from the looks and sounds of it, none of her relatives live down here and I have already tasked to them and they said that they wouldn't take her in" the police officer said to me Aleasha

And then I just lost it and I fell to the floor crying my eyes out, the police officer and my best friend bent down to where I was on the floor

"I'm so sorry" my best friend told me as she put a hand on my back and rubbed circles on it

"miss Hemley I'm sorry but this is what's best for you, okay?" the police officer said to me while putting his hand on my shoulder

I looked up at him with teary eyes "will I still see my friend, and visit her" I said to him with my finger pointing at Aleasha

He smiled at me "we will work something out, okay?" he said to me while getting up and him and my friend helped me up

"okay" was all I could say to him, cuz I was to broken down to say any thing else

"the foster care owner will be by here in two days to pick you up, so have your stuff ready by then, okay?" the police officer said to me and I shook my head yes

"okay you two have a nice day, bye" he said to us

We both waved and then we shut the door, how could he say have a nice day after telling me that my parents were in a car crash and are no longer living

"I'm so sorry Marissa" my friend said to me again pulling me into a tight hug

"it's okay, it's not your fault Aleasha" I said to her hugging her back

"are you gonna be okay" she asked me pulling away from the hug and looking me in the eyes

"yeah, I just need to go for a walk" I said to her giving her a slight smile
