Okay, the Magnus Chase spoilers are over. Read on my demigods! (And Veyniacs)

Ian pov

I couldn't believe my echolocation signals. Apparently, the two kids in front of us had summoned lightning to kill a...thing. But we already had discovered all the glows. So who were they?

Today started with Abigail, Nichelle, Grace, Zeus, and I had decided to head to the park to feed some ducks that hang around there. The closest bus stop there was about 1/4 of a mile away, so we decided that we could walk there. But as soon as we had gotten off, we saw them control electricity like Zeus would. Before I could tell everyone to stay quiet, Abigail gasped.

The two teens spun around, one holding a really fuzzy yardstick and the other a fuzzy looking toy bow. The younger girl had black hair with one blue streak, a sprinkling of freckles, and piercing blue eyes. The older boy had blonde hair with a niche in the side, a scar on his upper lip, and he also had piercing blue eyes. The girl was wearing mostly punk clothes, and had a silver circlet in her hair. But the older boy had a faded purple shirt with faded letters on it.

Before they went crazy on us, I decided to take charge. I stepped forward with my hands raised. "We mean you no harm. My name is Ian, and this is Abigail, Nichelle, Grace, and Zeus-" At his name the two teens started laughing as thunder rumbled in the distance, even though there wasn't a cloud in sight.

The younger girl glanced up and gasped between waves of laughter, "Z-Zeus!!! D-do you ha-ave a d-eath wish?!?"

Zeus, unable to control his temper, stepped forward with his hands raised. "I am called Zeus because I can do this!" I watched helplessly as he demonstrated his power. When he didn't stop, Nichelle made him stop.

The two teens looked at each other. "Περιμένετε , ένα άλλο ημίθεος ; Αλλά γιατί να μην μυρίζει όπως το όζον ;" (Translation: Wait, another demigod? But why doesn't he smell like ozone?) The black haired girl said in a different language.

"Δεν γνωρίζω. Αλλά αυτά τα παιδιά αισθάνονται επικίνδυνη . Νομίζω ότι πρέπει να φύγει . Πετώντας ή Τρικυμία ;" (Translation: I don't know. But these guys feel dangerous. I think that we need to leave. Flying or Tempest?) This guy spoke the language a little more choppy, like it wasn't natural.

Before we were able to do anything, the girl yelled out, "Tempest!" What was even more surprising is that a horse made of clouds and electricity came to her. They both jumped on, and we watched helplessly as they FLEW away.

PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! I had a busy week, and it took me FOREVER to write this chapter! But I'll try to update all this week! I promise that I'll try not to forget!

Yours in demigoddishness,
