Chapter 21

~1 year later~

Leah's pov

My 16th birthday is in 2 weeks, and all i really want is my best friend back. After Hunter got back from tour we stopped talking. He was home schooled and got a new number. I havn't talked to Brandon eaither. Me and Alyssa became best friend's since Darielle moved to California permantley. Nathan came back from tour, but we didn't get back together. Weston and Alyssa are still together and Jacob moved to Virginia. That's what happened over the last year.

Summer's about to be over. only people I have left is alyssa Weston mark Nathan and Blake. We were all one big family and would always be together. In 1 week was the first day of school. I was not looking forward to it, because everyone is going to make fun of me because hunter left me for his career or for Hailey. I asked my mom to be home schooled but she said no and called me crazy?

Alyssa is coming over today. We are finally hanging out just us two.

Alyssa's POV

I was walking to Leah's house listing to music and texting Weston. When I got to Leah's house I just walk in. I don't think she knew I was on my way because she was literally sitting on her dinning room table eating pizza out of a box, blasting Shawn Mendes.
"what the hell are you doing" I asked yelling over the music.
"oh hi" she said laughing with a mouthful of pizza
"what do you wanna do all day?" I asked her.
"doesn't matter"
"your so much help" I said sarcastically.
"wanna go to skyzone?" Leah asked.
"sure"
We went up to her room and got changed. thank god I had clothes at her house or I would have went in jean shorts and a tank top. Leah put on a her red Aaron carpenter t shirt on with Black shorts and high Nike socks. I was wearing a plain blue t shirt with black shorts and high Nike socks. We got our uber and headed over to skyzone.

The drive was about 35 minutes. We were texting instead of talking because the driver was really weird.

As soon as we got there we payed the guy and walked in. After we signed the wavers and payed and stuff we sat on the bench waiting for them to call our time. we bought a 2 hour jump time because, why not?

We jumped the whole time. We played dodgeball basket ball and just had a free jump. Leah wanted to go to the foam pit, so we went over there. I went first. I did a front flip in and almost broke my neck. Leah was dying laughing. It was her turn and she did the same thing but she landed feet first. We kept just taking turns jumping in, and at times jumping in at the same time.
"I'm gonna try a back flip" Leah said.
"oh my god your gonna die" I said laughing, "hold up let me get a video" .
I pulled out my phone and started recording it on snapchat. She was standing back wards on the trampoline. I wasn't too worried because she's a cheer leader and can do like back hand springs and stuff.

She started jumping and jump back flipping.
"shit" I said.
"what?" Leah asked.
"do it again you took too long"
"Ughh your lucky I love you"
she did another back flip. But this time she landed wrong. "ow ow ow ow ow" she started screaming.
"oh my god Leah are you okay!??" I asked running towards the foam pit.
"no m-my leg" she said beginning to cry. I ran and got a worker. .they called an ambulance and brought her to the hospital along with me.

Leah's POV
~after x-rays and stuff~
"ok so bad news, your left leg is broken . your going to have to have a cast on it for 2 months" the doctor said. I rolled my eyes and looked out the window. Great get to spend my birthday and get to go back to school crippled.
"what color cast are you gonna get?" alyssa asks me.
"I don't know. Blue"
"okay well your moms on her way. she has to sign papers because you might have to get surgery. I'm gonna go get something to eat, want any thing?" alyssa asked.
"yeah can you get me a coffee?"
"of course"
after she left I took a picture on snapchat (picture on top)and put the caption "hospitals suck ass😣" I hit post and waited for my mom.

I didn't have to get surgery because the bone didn't completely break in half, just a small one. I got to go home around 9pm. It was a struggle getting in and out of the car with crutches.
"oh my god you know what I just realized" alyssa blurted out.
"what?"
"I got that all on video. I can put it in slow motion and post it"
I laughed. "please do it". we got back to my house, I guess she was sleeping over. When we were driving down my street we passed hunters house and I seen Brandon and hunter playing basketball. I really miss him but he clearly doesn't miss me and or needs me.
I just can't believe I was stupid enough to trust him and think he would always be there for me.

I'm sorry this chapter is kinda short. also about the broken leg, I don't really know about that stuff since I've never actually broke a bone so I just winged it. And also sorry about the time jump. I just wanted them to be older for this so they can drive and all. I have a couple ideas for the story in the future soo yeah. I think I'm gonna start writing another book but we'll see.
