Chapter 25

Leahs pov
I was sitting on the couch just watching tv when I got a text from mark.

Mark"wanna hangout?"

Me "sure but you have to come here"

Mark "well duh"

Me "ok just walk in no ones home"

Mark "alright see ya soon"
About 5 minutes later Mark comes running through the door and into the living room.
"Hey girll" he said. I shook my head and laughed. He set down a bag. he had Duncan Donuts.
"Mm I thanks" I said as he handed me a coffee.

"Thought you needed the energy" he said. I nodded and took a sip.

"When do you get your cast off?" He asked. Man he's talking a lot. Can't a girl just watch tv and eat in peace?

"Umm I'm not sure I think the week after my birthday" I said. His eyes lit up.

"Oh no. I forgot your birthday! It's like next week! What do you want. Your turning 16 so it gotta be a good one"

"Umm ok. I don't even think I'm gonna have a party honestly. I can't do any thing at a party so I'll probably just have a couple people over"
He just stared at me.

"You'll be invited of course" I said making sure he knew. He wiped his forehead.

"Pheew" he said. I laughed.

"Can I ask you something?" He asked. This boy just keeps talking.

"Fine" I playfully roll my eyes.

Just then Hunter and hailey started walking down the steps.

"Um I'll text you it later. Bye" he said awkwardly. We said goodbyes then he was gone.

"Wow she's finally moving on from you" I heard hailey say from the kitchen. I'm done with her bull shit. As soon as I get this cast off I'm gonna beat the actual shit out of her.

"Maybe if you talk louder I will hear you better" I shouted to her. She stomped into the living room.

"Do you have a problem?" I ask her because she was standing In front of me.

"Yeah I do. Stay away from me and hunter. Your a little bitch with 2 friends. Go die" she said to me. Maybe she's right. Maybe I should die.

"Shut the fuck up bitch" I said to her, staring into her eyes. She started walking towards me. My heart began to race as she raised her hand. As soon as her hand made contact with my face, I lifted my good leg and kicked her right in the stomach. She fell to the ground.

"Oh my god what did you do to her!?" Hunter yelled at me.

"Control your girlfriend" is all I said. Then she got up and they walked out of the house. I called darielle as soon as they were out of sight. I told her everything.

After she hung up, I thought about what hailey had said to me. The words kept repeating in my head, "go die" I'm starting to think she's right.

No one really would care if I was gone. Right before I was about to get up my mom comes in. Woah. Did she really just sorta save me? I don't think i would have really done it. I'm too scared. Honestly the only reason I'm still alive is because I'm too scared to kill myself.

Mark texts me after I was done eating dinner.
Mark "ok you wanna know?"

Me "yes"

Mark "ok well umm... I kinda of.... Ummm... Wanted to.... You know... Ask you out or something like that"

Me "well um I'd love to but I'm crippled😂"

Mark "true but it can always be a home date"

Me "oh so it's a date😏"

Mark "yeah it is☺️"

Me "ok when?"

Mark "tomorrow night since it's Friday"

Me "alright who's house?"

Mark "doesn't matter"

We agreed on my house so I don't have to leave. I didn't tell him about the whole hailey situation.

Hunter never came home that night. He called my mom and told her he was sleeping at Blakes house. I don't think I believe that. But oh well there's one less problem I have to worry about tonight.

I couldn't fall asleep. I kept thinking of Mark. I kinda like him, but I haven't had any feelings for any one since Hunter. I didn't have to go to school tomorrow because I had a doctors appointment. They are telling me when I can get my cast off yay!

I finally fall asleep, thinking about how my date with Mark will go tomorrow night.

Ok so I'm writing on my phone that's why there is emojis js!

I'm gonna have Leah get her cast off kinda early because I want her to be able to walk again.
