Leah's pov
Mark was getting ready to leave, when Hunter stomps down the steps. Damn this boy needs to control him self.
"ok well good luck with him" Mark said pointing to kitchen where hunter was.
"thanks i'll need it" i said laughing. He bent down and gave me a hug. After that he left with out saying a work.
"i need to talk to you" I jumped when i heard hunter. I didn't even see him standing in the door way.
"about?" i asked him.
"well um i just don't want things to be this way any more"
"what you mean us not talking?" i asked started to get angry.
"yeah that" he said looking at his feet.
"does hailey know your talking to me?" i asked.
"uh we broke up"
"ohh now i know why your trying to be friends again. Because i'm your 'backup plan' or some shit".
Right when he was about to respond Brandon walked down stairs.
"woah whats going on?" brandon asked standing next to me. I was still sitting on the couch mad as ever.
"nothing you know just hunter being his regual dick self" i said.
"what did i ever even do to you. I loved you" i yelled at him.
"you know what you did? After i told you i loved you, you kissed my brother. Then i forgave you and then you got a boy friend. So i got a girlfriend and you get all mad. Now your throwing yourself at mark" he screamed.
"Why do you care?" i asked him. I'm holding in my tears.
"because I care about you. I used to care about us but thats over. I don't want you getting hurt. I hurt you so i didn't want any thing to do with you. It's so hard being in the same house as you. I just want every thing to be ok again" he said . He sat down on the other couch and put his head in his hands.
"i'm so dumb" Hunter said and got up and walked out of the house.
I looked over at brandon and he was shocked. I guess he's never see hunter like that. I have.
I'm getting worried. It's been almost 2 hours and hunter still hasn't come home.
Hunters pov (it's been so long omg)
I can't take it. I need to get out of that house. I decied to sneak into my house. After i found the spare key i went inside and straight up to my room. I pulled out my phone and texted Heather (leahs mom) and told her i was sleeping at blakes hosue.
Leah's pov
Hunter never came home that night. I could care less tho, he was proably at a friends house. But yay i get my cast off today.
"lets go" my mom yelled from the front door.
I just got my cast off. I feel free. I'm not used to walking so i'm gonna walk a little funny for a few days.
I get home and go right up to my room. Brandon is moving into the guest room with Hunter so i can have my bedroom back. I looked at my phone and i seen i got a text from mark.
mark "come to the park"
me "alright be there soon"
I told my mom i was leaving. When i got out side it felt really weird. I havn't walked down my street in a long time.
I got to the park and see Mark sitting on a swing. I decided to sneak up on him and scare him since i was coming from behind him. I grabbed his shoulders and screamed "free shavakadoo" he fell of the swing and i started laughing.
"ha-ha soo funny" mark said getting up, brushing his pants off.
"it was 'soo funny'" i told him.
"whatever. How does it feel not being cripled no more?"
"amazing" i sang. he laughed then grabbed my hand.
We were walking around the neighborhood in scilence. But it wasn't awkward it was peaceful. Until he broke it.
"um i don't know how to ask this, but i'm just goonna say it" he said/
"go on" i said talking with my hands.
"wanna go out, i know we are really good friends and if you don't want to that's alright. i just really like you" he said really fast.
"woah ok i like you too i would love to go out with you" i said. He smiled wide and hugged me.
I know what your thinking. 'ew she's such a hoe dating another guy'. But no i think i always liked mark, i just didn't know it.
Remeber she hasn't dated any one since Nathan and that was a year ago!
I finally got time to update yayy
Idk when i will update next.
