"Where are you talking me?" I asked, as I pushed my bike down the road, but she didn't answer me. After we got our things, she made me follower her. We were now five blocks from the school, only one block from my house. She doesn't know where I live, does she? We turned down onto my road, making me confused as heck. We started to pass my house, so I turned into the drive, pushing my bike to the side of the house.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
I sat my bike beside the house, and then walked back down the drive. "Putting my bike up," I said, as I got to her.
"Oh," she paused, as she put the pieces together, "You live here?"
"Yeah," I said, as I started to walk with her again.
"I moved in just down the street."
"Oh, cool," I said, trying to force a smile, but couldn't from the pain in my ribs.
"Are you okay?" she asked in concern.
"Yeah, just hurts."
She rested her hand on my arm, and gave me a sad smile. Her warm touch made my skin tingly. "Come on," she sighed, and walked away. We walked about two blocks and a half from my house, until Riley stopped outside a white house. It was a large two story house, that had big green hedges that lined the bottom of the house, with stepping stones that led up to the front door. The house looked expensive.
"You live here?"
"Yeah," she shrugged. "Come on," she smiled slightly, grabbing my head, and pulling me to the door. She opened it, and walked in, pulling me behind her.
There was a dark wood stair case right in front of the door. Before I could look around, she quickly pulled me up the steps. She turned right, down the white hall way at the top of the steps. She opened the door at the end of the hall, and pulled me in to the room, witch I assume must be hers. The walls were a medium shade of purple that had paintings all over; a bed was pushed up into the corner, with white Christmas lights hanging above it. A brown desk was to the right of the bed with a laptop on it.
"Do you like it?" she asked, with a smile, pulling me over to her bed.
"Yeah, it's beautiful," I said looking around
She gave my hand a small squeeze. My heart sped up a little bit when I realized, she was still holding my hand. She must have noticed me staring at our hands, because she pulled her's away awkwardly.
"Oh, I'll be right back," she said, and left the room.
I stood up and walked over to one of the paintings that hung over her decks. It was a green meadow with a couple of deer in the middle of the field. The sky was blue with a few white clouds.
The door creaked open, causing me to jump a little. I turned to see Riley walking in. She smiled at me brightly as she entered the room.
"Did you make these?" I asked, as I turned back around to face the panting.
"Yeah, there not that good though," she said, walking over to her bed
"Are you kidding? There amazing."
"Thanks," she smiled. "Now come here."
I walked over to her, setting down on the bed beside her. She handed me a bottle of water, and a couple of aspirins.
"Take them." she ordered. Once I did, she gently pushed me back wards onto the bed. I gave her a questionable look. She just smiled at me. Once I was lying on my back, she lifted my shirt enough to see the bruise. "Does it hurt?" she asked in concern.
