Explaining

Emily's POV

"I'm a werewolf"

Okay this guy is nuts!  I think to myself, I slowly get up and back up near the door and I say

"Okay umm thanks so much for helping out Mr.Kane but I really should get going"

I quickly grab my bag and run out of the bedroom and into a living room with boxes in it, I don't stop to look as I just touch the door handle but I feel a hand on my arm. Suddenly I get jerked back into a very sexy and strong chest.

Hunter turns me to face him and his eyes are changing from their normal green to yellow. I start to shake in fear and a few tears escape my eyes and I say

"Please don't h-hurt m-me"

His eyes stay on the calm green and he wraps his arms around me tightly and says

"I would never hurt you"

I try and pull away from him slowly but he growls and tightens his arms around me more. I close my eyes and sniffle as I ask

"what a-are you?"

He pulls away from my neck and says

"I told you Emily, I'm a werewolf"

I look into his eyes with a tiny bit of determination but also in fear, I take a big breath and say

"Prove it"

He nods and pulls away and he takes off his shirt and pants, my eyes widen as I see his hot, sexy and strong body. I try to keep looking into your eyes and not look at your body, I watch as he gets on his hands and knees and hair starts to sprout out of his skin. I gasp in shock as I watch him transform into this huge black wolf that's bigger and taller then me.

I sink down to the ground and cry lightly as I try to cower away in fear. He lays down on his stomach and lays his head down. I sit there and watch him for about a half hour and he doesn't move and I calm down a bit.

I slowly get up and crawl towards you, I hesitantly pet your head and you stay still. I nod and say

"Okay so werewolves do exist"

I sigh and brush my fingers through your fur, you purr and I giggle. I back up a bit and ask

"can you change back?"

He nods hid big head and I back up more giving him some room to change back. He slowly changes back into his human for and I sit and watch in amazement. He finishes changing and he quickly puts on some shorts since he changed back naked.

I sat there staring at him and he moves closer to me, I let him sit in front of me closely. I stare down at my hands and ask

"why me? why did you tell me?"

He looks into my eyes and says

"because Emily, you're my mate"

I sit there for a bit and search my memory of werewolves from all the fiction books that I read, I ask

"I'm your soulmate?"

He smiles and nods and says

"yes you are love, now I'm going to explain a few things and I need you to pay attention, I'm not the only werewolf, there are many of us around the world and we all live in packs. Now there are ranks in a pack and it goes from Alpha, Beta and third in command, I'm the Beta of the pack that I'm in and my friends are the Alpha and TC"

I nod and keep listening as he talks about mates, responsibilities and finally the heat.

I ask

"So in less then 8 hours we're going to be supper horny and in pain? and the only way to stop it is to have sex?"

He nods and runs his fingers through his hair. I nod and sit there thinking about everything, I slowly get up and say

"I should leave, I'll take a cab don't worry about me Mr.Kane"

I quickly pick up my bag and go for the door, I hear shuffling behind me and I turn around to see Hunter in his full wolf form. My eyes widen and my breathing  quickens, when I place my hand on the doorknob he growls loudly so I pull my hand away.

I move away from the door and as I do his tail wags and he seems happy. I place my bag down slowly and when Hunter moves forward I back up, he manages to back me up into his room and he closes his door behind him.

I take a deep breath trying to calm down and say

"okay.. Il stay"
