Aris and I sat in the two seats provided to us, watching the young earl as he looked over our identification cards, his butler stood promptly beside him, watching us intently. His staring seemed to make Aris fidget in her seat uncomfortably, which, in turn, caused me to glare at the butler boldly, not appreciating the way he stared at us daringly as if he wanted us to fuck up.
"this material, I've never seen it before, and the pictures, they're in color, it's unbelievable" Although his words seemed awe-struck, Ciel's tone of voice didn't match up, it was dull with a pique of interest.
"All identification cards look like that, the material is meant to show it is authentic and the stamps on it can not be cheaply imitated, when a person is able to drive they receive this in order to prove they have been giving the proper education and have the proper skill required to drive" I explained, my arms crossed as I impatiently waited for the boy to give his butler the 'okay' so he would stop staring at us, it was beginning to annoy me.
"I see, although I cannot fully tell whether or not you are telling the truth or not, I believe you are my problem now, you two will work as help, and, in return, I will house you, Miss Arevir, however, I believe we have matters to discuss"
We nodded, not really having much of a choice, if we denied then we would be out in the streets and with all the murders Aris went on and on about, I would rather stay beside the boy and his demon butler.
"Sebastian" Ciel called strictly, not even bothering to turn his head and face the demonic being.
"Yes, my lord?"
"You know what to do" Ciel responded and I bit back a shiver, the way he said it made it sound as though they were preparing man-slaughter, and knowing these two, that could be a possibility.
"Yes, My Lord"
I turned to Aris in confusion but nearly fell out of my seat as I watched her try and contain a panic attack, her face was, eyes wide open, shaking a little too violently, and mumbling incoherent words, such as:
"Oh my god" "He said it" "bae" "wtf!"
I stared at her with a blank expression, not really knowing how to calm her down since she never did this while watching the show or, at least, not when I passed by her.
Sebastian strode by us collectedly, giving us a warning side glance as we passed and I only smirked in response, just to mess with him, which earned a fierce glare that I brushed off, not so easily if I'm honest .
"Miss Arevir, earlier you spoke of holding knowledge that could facilitate my company's growth, what exactly do you know?"
I sat up straight, my eyes set in a firm stared as I folded my hands in my lap neatly.
"Well, Mr.Phantomhive, I suppose I should begin with the automobiles since the tie frame is limited for that to be new and original"
The young earl rose a brow at my statement and I felt as though I was on a game show, trying to present a new idea and invention to a younger version of Simon Cowell.
"so, there is this guy in America called Henry Ford, fortunately he doesn't have an important part in history at the moment due to him being in the planning process, but if your company pulls it off before his, trust me, it will help"
He motioned for me to continued and I bit back a smirk.
"Henry Ford doesn't found Ford Motors until 1901, his second vehicle isn't made until 1898, but this is the year 1883, so he hasn't even made the first one. Personally, I don't know how to create the car, but Aris does, she's a motor nerd, I'm a health nerd, we make it work"
