Chapter 3

~Ryan's Pov.~

"Why did we have to come here in the first place?", I yelled at my dad.

"You know why Son.", he said in a clam tone making me even angrier.

"I don't want to be here I want to go back to my home!" , I yelled clenching my fists.

"This is our home now."

"No! This is not my home! I hate it here!", I snapped.

"Don't use that tone of voice with me. You should not be behaving like a child you are soon to be alpha. This is not how an alpha behaves." , He says losing his cool.

I ran my hand though my hair, something I frequently did when I was frustrated.

"I'm going for a run.", and before he could say anything thing to object I took off towards the woods.

Once in the woods I stopped not wanting to rip my clothes to sheds I pulled them off, throwing them to the ground in a heap.

Shifting into my large black wolf I start running. Not knowing or caring where I was going I just let my feet carry me away from were I was.

After a while I began to feel tired and thirsty. I slowly start to slow down to look at my surroundings. I wasn't like the land at my old home.

There weren't as many rocks and unlike my old home there were different trees and more grass covered the earth. Stopping to sniff the air I smell a lake near by and decided I would go get a drink.

Pushing my way though the brush trying to make it to the lake. When I make it to the lake I looked at it taking it all in. It was actually quite nice. It was calming. It was so still you could see the clouds clearly in the lake.

I bent my head down towards the water drinking it in. Its tastes good, fresh.

The wind changes direction and an odd smell hits my nose. I lift my head up and look in the direction of the smell.

I was shocked at what I saw. It was a girl, just sitting by the lake starting at me. She had long waist length brown hair, and blue-green eyes. She just sat there looking at me.

I growl at her and still she just sat there. I growl again taking a step towards her, and she still didn't move. I took another step, and she still just sat there.

It made me angry she should be afraid of me, but she's not. I am soon to be alpha she should fear me but she doesn't.

Getting angrier and angrier I start running at her. When I was a mere foot away from her she jumped to her feet, and runs. I chase her. She is fast and agile, she was moving through the trees and over loges with ease. As we kept running she turns back to look at me not seeing the root sticking out of the ground she trips just as she turns back around.

She falls to the ground hitting her head on the ground with a sickening thud. I slide to a stop and look at her.

She had turned her head to look at me, her eyes glazed over. Just as I started to walk towards her I saw her eyes roll back in her head and she fell limp to the ground. I would have thought she was dead if it wasn't for the slight rise and fall of her chest from her breathing.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding .

I was relieved, but she needs help. I couldn't just shift though I wouldn't have any clothes on and that would be weird.

I need to get my clothes from where I left them. That was what I needed to do, run and get my clothes then come back.

With one last glance at the girl I turned hoping I was going the right way and ran.

I kept running, trying to sniff my way back to were I had left my clothes, dodging trees and jumping over logs.

Once I had finally found my clothes I shifted back to human form and hurriedly slipped them on. Then I ran back to were I had left the girl.

Once I had found the girl again I slowly started to walk towards her. She was exactly how I had left her. Good.

I felt guilty though, it was my fault she had gotten hurt in the first place. The least I could do is help her.

I walk around to her, not being able to see her face from all the hair in the way. It was really aggravating me but I have no clue why. I bend down to brush the hair out of her face and just as I slightly brush her face I feel myself being slammed Into a tree.

DUN, DUN, DUUUUN!!! hehe sorry (well not really) I just felt that's were This chapter should end at.

Oh also I Am really sorry I took so long. I will TRY to write another chapter soon. I may also be writing another book Idk yet.
