Chapter 6

~ two weeks later ~

"Alex, get up your going to miss the bus on the first day of school!", My Nana yelled from the kitchen.

"Ugh! I don't wanna go!", I yelled stuffing my face in my pillow. "Alexandra Monroe Silvermoon you better be up and getting ready in 5 minutes or I'm gonna come in there and pour ice water on you!", My Nana yelled from the kitchen again.

"I'm up, I'm up!", I yelled back jumping out of my bed and going to my bathroom to brush my teeth. Going back into my room I walk to my dresser and pull out my favorite T-shirt and shorts put them on, put my hair in my usual messy bun and put on a little mascara. Once I finished I grabbed my phone and my bag and go down the hall to the kitchen.

"Bye Nana I love you", I say heading for the door.

"I love you too. You better hurry the bus should be here any minute.", She says as I go out the door.

"Alex where are your shoes?", I stop and look down and see my bare feet. Crap! I hurry back Inside and slip on my old converse and run back outside to the bus waiting in the drive way.

Climbing onto the bus I see my best friend Kasey at the back waving at me to hurry up. Kasey has been my best friend ever since Kindergarten, I can still remember how we first met.

"Everyone this is Kasey Redstone I want you all to make her feel welcome.", Mrs. Sampson said looking at us all sternly. Kasey was pretty she had long ginger hair in a braid down her back and was wearing overall shorts with a green frog T-shirt. She looked nervous as she stood in front of the class room with everyone staring at her. "Now you my all go to recess.",We all cheered and ran out the door to the playground. I ran to the marry go round and hopped on as one of the big kids pushed us around.

As the ride slows down I jump off and start running to the slide when I here someone yelling.

"Your ugly why would you even think someone like me would want to be your friend?"
