Chapter 30: Its over

After the king was defeated, the queen was set free.

She was heartbroken at not being able to notice that he was evil, but she got over after about a couple of weeks.

The queen decided to keep being ruler and to take care of her people.

James went back to his kingdom to get some more training in.

He says after what he saw our last journey, he wants to be fully prepared for the next one.

Mom and dad making up for lost time.

Mom had to remind dad about everything on earth.

Devin decided to go back to his home on earth.

I visit him everyday now, to learn more spells and practice magic, other times we just hang out.

Today me and Devin are going back to my house because my dad had something to tell us both.

"Okay, so now that your here. I have some news I want to share with you" dad said.

"Okay"

"I got accepted to teach at a camp this year"

Devin started to smirk alittle and I hit his shoulder.

"Ohh...a camp, how nice"

Dad looked at mom and they stated laughing.

"What's funny?"

"It's not any ordinary camp. You see the camp is not on earth" he said.

"It's not?"

"Nope, and on top of that its a supernatural camp" he said.

"You mean like with fairies and Werewolve's and mages, things like that?"

"Yes. It's a camp where all supernatural a can have a chance to make there powers for good and learn how to use them better and to there full abilities" he said.

"Wow, so you'll be gone for a year?"

"No, we will be gone for a year. I talked with your mother and we thought it would be great for you and Devin to sign up for the camp. It's almost like, uh..." He stopped in thought

"College" mom Said.

"Yeah college. You'll have to share a room with three other people. The boys and girls dorms are of course separated, and there's activities happening everyday that have to do with your powers. I think you'll love it" he finished.

"If it's a camp for supernaturals, why am I going? I mean I am a vampire" Devin said.

"The reason your going is because one,  I promised the Queen I would look after you, and two, you do have powers aswell. So it would be great for you to learn how to use them more" he said.

"I guess" Devin said.

I grabbed Devins arm and said "come on Devin, it could be fun"

It smiled alittle and said "I guess I can go"

"Count me in to...but what about mom?"

"Unfortunately she can't come. You will be able to see her on the holidays, and we have parent Friday when parents come aswell" he said.

"Don't worry about it sweetie. Go and have fun, I'll be fine" mom said.

I smiled at her and nodded.

"But I will tell you one thing about parent Friday. A lot of these kids at this camp..there parents are human, so they don't know that there kid is a supernatural or even has powers. So we must keep it that way" he said.

"Why?"

"Let's just say humans tend to not understand and believe that powers like this are evil" mom said.

"I guess, but I understand"

"Good. We leave in a week" dad said.

With that me and Devin left the house.

When I got on Devins back, he sped through the street and took me onto this huge hill, where we saw the sun getting ready to set.

"This has been...bazaar"

"What has?" He asked.

"Everything. From meeting you, to leaving earth, learning I have powers, finding my dad, then the king..it's just been like I've been living in a fairytale, like I'm in a--"

"Dream" he finished.

"Yeah, a dream"

"Well, I can tell you it's not a dream, everything is definitely real" he said.

"Yeah I know...thank you"

"For what?" He asked.

"Sticking by my side always"

He smirked at me and said "well, that's my job"

I smiled as we watched the sun set.

Can't wait to go to this camp.

I wonder what will await us there...
