Three is better than one

Jungkook sighed from his desk, watching as Taehyung and Jimin passed notes back and forth in front of him during their last class of the day. He wanted to slap both of them for being so oblivious, but he kept quiet, silently cursing them from his seat until the bell finally rang. In a flash the entire class was headed down the hallway towards the main exit, but Jungkook froze in his tracks at the sight before him. At the end of the hallway stood Jimin and Taehyung, standing in the corner away from the crowd as Jimin leaned forward to peck Taehyung's check. Anger flared up in Jungkook's chest, and his last drop of self restraint evaporated. Without time to register what he would actually even say, he'd rushed over to the two older boys and drug them outside by their wrists.

Jimin shouted once they were outside, ripping his hand away "what the hell Kookie??!" Jungkook growled, looking at both of them "shut up. I can't take any more of this" Taehyung looked between both of them, blushing lightly at the realization that both of his crushes were alone with him as he shyly asked "w-what's wrong?" Jungkook sighed, staring at his feet suddenly "look I like Jimin a lot. And I like you a lot Tae, I can't stand seeing the two of you spending time together without me" Jimin stared at him in surprise "you have crushes on both of us?" Jungkook nodded nervously, never looking up and Taehyung interrupted by saying "I do to actually" Jimin gazed at the two boys in shock "so we all have crushes on each other?!" Both boys nodded slowly, leaving Jimin standing in surprise. Taehyung blushed, asking "what do you think Jiminie?" Jimin sighed in defeat "alright fine you got me. I like both of you to"

The three boys stared at each other in surprise, until Taehyung pulled them into a group hug "so we can all three date each other now!!" Jungkook pulled away, frowning slightly "I don't think that's going to work so well... Me and Jimin both get jealous really easy..." He sighed, turning on his heel "I should've just kept my mouth shut. Forget I said anything" then he started to walk away from the two boys. However, he took exactly one step before two hands grabbed both of his wrists and he heard Taehyung's voice "please don't go... We can at least try can't we?" Jungkook gazed straight ahead, mind racing as he tried to decide what to do. He'd never liked two people at once, and he silently loved the idea of being able to date both of his crushes. But there was a nagging voice in the back of his mind that kept whispering "that's a crazy and stupid idea. It will only end in heartbreak" he was suddenly snapped back to reality when one of the hands that had been wrapped around his wrist let go. He heard Taehyung sniffle, and reluctantly turned around to see Taehyung staring down at his feet with tears streaming down his face "you only like Jimin don't you? You just didn't want to hurt my feelings..." Then the boy wiped his eyes, turned on his heel, and ran away. Jimin called his name several times, but gave up when Taehyung disappeared from sight. Jungkook frowned, closing his eyes to calm his nerves. Jimin stepped forward quickly, shoving Jungkook "what's wrong with you?!" The younger's eyes watered and he sighed "this is what I meant. It would've never worked, tell Taehyung I'm sorry..." Jimin growled, grabbing the younger's wrist "tell him yourself. We all like each other, we're going on at least one date now stop whining. We've gotta go cheer him up"

Taehyung had ran to his favorite park, sitting under the slide, crying against his knee caps. A sob echoed from his throat, and he nearly jumped out of his skin when someone cleared their throat. He looked up to see Jungkook and Jimin both kneeling before him with gentle smiles. He sniffled, wiping at his eyes with a shivering sigh "w-why are you both here?" Jungkook glanced at Jimin with a grin before leaning forward and pecking Taehyung's forehead "because I love you, I mean, we love you" Taehyung's eyes widened and he smiled slightly "y-you do?" Jimin nodded, pecking Taehyung's check "yeah we do. Come on let's go get some for ice cream to cheer you up Tae" the the two boys pulled Taehyung to his feet and walked off down the street, holding hands.
