Elliot
The night of the tragedy
The dark smooth fluid is flowing out creating an unknown map on my wrists. Flowing out in canals but mixing in to form huge rivers on the floor.
My body is on fire but I'm feeling a very deep and sensational feeling of eternal peace. Peace that is slowly covering me like a blanket.
"Papa"
I smile at the voice. Papa; how very sweet.
I think I'm dreaming, yes that must be it.
"Come on Ellie, hop on. We are gonna get there before Declan and Briton" Julian called out to his 6yr old sweet little girl, His Ellie.
"Papa"
Julian helped Ellie onto his back and started trekking faster. He had to get to the peak before his son's, after all he had promised to Ellie.
And they did too. Ellie squealed with excitement, it was a sight to behold. Julian was so proud to be the father of this extraordinary girl, this beautiful girl.
Little Ellie gazed up at Julian, waiting for her papa to take her onto his lap
Julian swept Ellie off her feet and placed him on his lap. Ellie kissed him on the cheeks
"I love you, papa"
"I love you too"
"hmm...I'm sorry father, I love you papa"
Darkness is wonderful and dying is not hard.
Death is peaceful; it frees you
