Chapter 1: Konoha Village

Hanako's POV

Hanako...

Be strong....

Never take revenge...

Be a good girl...

We love you... Hanako...

I snapped my eyes open and turn towards the voice calling me,

"Hanako, are you okay?" Z, my pet squirrel, asked me while he wore a worried look.

I smile at him,"I'm okay Z..." I replied.

"Are you sure?" He asked as he climbed up on my bent knee.

I pat his head,"Yes, Z. I'm really okay..." I said softly.

"Are you gonna train today?" Z asked as he look at me.

I shook my head,"No, not today." I answered as I gave him some nuts.

He tilt his head,"Hm, then what are we doing today?" He asked in confusion.

I stare up at the clouds and watch them as they form shapes and answer in a calm tone,

"We're gonna travel and find us a suitable village..."

Z choke on his nuts and cough a few times, he whipped his head in my direction and asked in a surprise tone,

"W-What? Are you serious!? Why all of a sudden??!"

I look down at him and answered,

"I think its time I become social..."

He sigh,"You're right. Its better if you make some friends." He said.

"Let's go."

We have been walking for hours now, we have went to many villages, yes some were nice but they weren't suitable for us. I also made some friends or acquaintances while visiting the villages. I look up at the sky and saw that it was getting dark.

We better find us a village before it gets darker.

"Hanako! Look! A village!" Z shout out as he point ahead with his paw.

I look ahead and indeed there was a village with a huge gate.

"Let's go."

I walk forward and soon I stood in front of the village's entrance gate. There were two guards sleeping.

"They should be guarding the gate and yet they're asleep. They're useless." Z said as he look at the sleeping guards.

I walk towards the guy whose right bangs covered his right eye and tap on his shoulder,

"Excuse me..."

The guy stirred a bit and continued sleeping. I tap again...

Again...

Again...

Tick marks were forming in my head now.
