Chapter 8: Hanako's New Jutsus

3rd person POV

Hanako woke up a bit early today so she walked out of the house. Sasuke, who just stepped out of his house, saw her walking ahead of him, so he followed after her silently. Hanako went to the training ground to perfect her new jutsus. She stood in the middle of the ground and let out a sigh,

"Here goes...." She joined her hands together and perform some handsigns and close her eyes.

"Nature Style: Thorn dome technique." Vines shot out from the ground and coil itself together in a twist. Many other vines shot out and all together they formed a dome around the dummy, sharp and poisonous thorns sprouted out from the vines.

Hanako open her eyes and look at her creation,

"When the opponent becomes trapped in my jutsu, he will not be able to get out from the dome. Even though he performs a jutsu, it won't do any harm on the dome, it will only reverse back to him only. I can harm him from the outside but he won't be able to do anything from the inside." Hanako explained to herself. She released the jutsu making the dome disappear.

She then did some hand signs and rammed her hands on the ground,

"Nature Style: Toxic flowers technique." Unique and beautiful flowers surrounded the training ground making it look like a paradise.

"Anyone who inhales the smell of these flowers, will become unconscious and they won't be able to wake up for two weeks. It will lure the person in with their unique beauty, it'll be tempting, but you know what they say,'looks can be deceiving.'" She explained again to no one in particular.

Sasuke, who has been spying on her, cover his nose when he hears the explanation of her that the flowers can make one unconscious.

Hanako released the jutsu making the flowers disappear and the training ground looked the same as before as if there weren't any flowers.

Hanako did some hand signs and pointed her hands towards the sky,

"Nature Style: Petals rain technique." Beautiful pink cherry blossom petals rain down slowly from the sky.

"When the petals falls on the opponent, it will drain all the strength and energy making him weak." Hanako explained.

Hanako released the jutsu making the petals into normal cherry blossom petals. She sigh and sat down in the middle of the training ground,

"I still got a lot more to learn..." She mutter to herself.

Sasuke came out of his hiding place and walk towards Hanako,

"What are you doing here?" Sasuke asked, as he pretended not to have followed her before.

"Sasuke, you don't need to ask me what I'm doing here. You were already spying on me ever since this morning." Hanako said without looking at him.

This seemed to shock Sasuke. He didn't even make any noise, he even hid his chakra perfectly, so how did she know? So many questions were roaming inside Sasuke's mind.

"How did you--? I even hid my chakra!" Sasuke yelled out.

Hanako look up at him,

"Yes, I know that you hid your chakra well Sasuke, but I can still sense you." She said,"So, why were you spying on me, Sasuke?" She asked him.

He glare at her,"I wasn't spying on you, you idiot. I was just going for training to the training ground, it was just a coincidence that you were going there too." He half-lied as he scoff at her.

She just sigh at him and shook her head,"Whatever you say, Sasuke..." She look ahead and watched as the sun rose from between the mountains.

Sasuke sat down next to her,

"Are you ready for today's test?" He asked as he look at her from the corner of his eyes.

She nod her head,"Yeah... What about you?" She asked back at him.

"Of course. Its pretty easy." He smirk cockily at her.

Hanako roll her eyes at his cockiness,

"Whatever duckbutt." She gave him a slight smile.

Sasuke's eye twitch in annoyance at the name she just called him,

"Stop calling me that!" He glare at her angrily.

She turn her head towards him,

"Duckbutt~" She stuck out her tongue towards him and got up from the ground and ran away from him.

Sasuke got up from the ground and chased after her angrily,

"Come back here, you idiot!" He yell out to her.

Hanako look back at him,

"Catch me if you can duckbutt~" She ran faster while laughing.

Sasuke became more angry and chased at her full speed. Hanako was busy laughing that she didn't notice Sasuke was nearly behind her. Sasuke was about to grab her but he tripped, causing him to fall down, he pulled Hanako down with him causing her to let out a surprise squeal. Hanako fell down on top of Sasuke causing him to grunt at the impact. Hanako shut her eyes shut waiting for the impact on the hard ground, but instead of hard ground she felt strong and warm arms holding her, she open her eyes slowly. She saw that she was laying on top of someone, she look upwards and saw Sasuke laying there, while holding her as he look at her. Hanako stare into his beautiful onyx eyes while Sasuke stare into her beautiful purple eyes. They continue to stare at each other and minutes later, Hanako blushed and got up and stood straight while coughing awkwardly,

"S-Sorry..." Hanako stuttered with a flustered face.

Sasuke got up from the ground and stood straight and he too cough with awkwardness while a tint of pink appear on his cheeks,

"I-Its not your fault. I was the one who pulled you down so sorry." He said while stuttering a bit,"See you at school." He walk away towards the academy leaving Hanako flustered at the event just now.

W-What was that just now!! My face feels so warm and my heart is...beating...fast...
