Alice P.O.V

''That's totally unfair, you guys cheated'' I scowled Jes and Em.

''I didn't even look'' she respond acting innocent , but I can see right though it. We're playing poker, it's probably some time around midnight ,mom left for bed about three hours ago . These two evil people are ganging up on me , Em is looking in my hand and help's Jes , leaving me to fend for myself ,some best friend she is...

''Okay, okay. Let's give her a break Em'' Jes butt in before I could scold her.

''No, I'm done'' I said . I should probably go to sleep ,I have a essay to do , then there's the party.

''WHAT!! Why ,we're sorry ,I'll help you cheat and we'll beat Em'' he quickly reply.

''HEY!!'' Em said sounding offended, which made me giggled.

''Guys it's no problem ,but it's getting late and I have a English essay to do and then there's the party''

''What party?'' they asked at the same time.

''Oh I forgot to tell you guys, Tyler invited me to a party tomorrow afternoon'' I said leaving Em looking at me with a smirk and Jes looking at us confused.

''You like him'' Em piped up. What she said was a statement but I don't even know if I like him, I mean sure he's hot and have great eyes. And yea I like his personality and voice but that doesn't mean I like him ,right?

''I don't think so Emily, I'm going to bed now ,goodnight guys.'' I said while I kissed Jes on his check and hugged Em . ''I'm guessing your sleeping over '' I yawn will talking to her.

''Yea and cover you mouth ,will ya ,gezz woman'' I rolled my eyes at her and head up the stairs ,on my way up I can hear Jes questioning Em about Tyler. Typical Jes ,he've been that way since dad left. I shake my head frowning , I don't want to think about that lousy excuse for a father.

Quickly I had a bath and got dress for bed , only now feeling the tiredness making my eyes drop. I picked my phone up to check the time and notice I had a message:

'Hi ,I know it's late and ur probably sleeping but i just wanted to say gudnite and sweetdreams Xx ' -- Tyler

Wow that was over a hour ago , it's already 1:30 am , I guess he's sleeping by now. I set my phone down and drift into a deep sleep. With two things on my mind what I'm I going to do for the damn essay and if Ty sleeping already....

It's five in the night ,apparently the party start's till 6:30pm and I just finish the damn essay , it's hard to do anything related to school when Emily and Jesse won't leave me alone. But thankfully it's done and it actually came out good. Now I'm in front of my closet, with my hair and body wrapped in towels . I have not idea what to wear. It's a huge party ,Tyler said to wear a formal dress , by which he probably means a ball dress , I've been to a lot of these things and I was never nervous before but here I am biting my nail and have no idea what to wear. So I did the only thing i can do.

Sticking my head out the door I yell down the hall ''Emily ,can you give me a hand''

''One second Liz!!'' i hear her voice echo from some where and indeed by five second she was at the door wearing a purple ball dress , she was already ready ,no way!!!
