Chapter 12 -- part 1

''Yo wake up Liz!!'' a voice yell as they shake me. Groaning I open one eye and look at her.

''What, can't you see I'm sleeping her woman!!'' I yell back at her now opening both eye, I hate when someone wakes me up when I'm having a good dream. What was I dreaming about? I can't remember and that's another thing I hate.

''Jeez you’re the one who told me to wake you up for the party.'' Emily said taking a step back with her hand in the air as a fake sunder.

''Oh yea I'm sorry, you woke me up from a good dream soooo.. Yea'' I frown at her as I got out of my bed.

''Oh, got it. Well you got an hour to get ready, so hurry up and do you need help with your hair or anything?'' she asked.

''Naw, I'm cool'' I smile at her as we head out the door ''I'm going to get something to eat, I'm starving.'' I told her only now realizing I haven't eaten anything except for airplane food.

''I almost forgot I made so macaroni and cheese, there's a plate for you in the microwave. And I'm going to take a bath while you do that, so see ya.'' with that she headed down the hall to the bathroom.

''Thanks'' I call after her retrieving back.

''Your welcome.'' I heard her voice echo as I walk down the stairs, that's one thing I love about this house, as you walk down the stairs your already in the kitchen. Heading over to them microwave I took out the plate of macaroni and cheese, then grab a plate and began to eat at the counter.

As I sat there eating I feel like I forgot something but I have no idea what it is. Oh well, it'll come to me sooner than later. Quietly I wash my plate in the sink and looked out the window, I could get a clear view of the beach from here, seagulls were flying in the clear blue sky forming 'm's' in the sky and families and teenagers were having fun in the water. When I was finish washing the plate and spoon, I dried my hand and headed over to the bathroom on this floor. Stripping off my clothes the feeling of me forgetting something came back, but I have no idea what it is. Taking a nice warm bath I push the thought aside. When the water start to turn cold I turn the shower off and step out. Just as I wrap a towel around my body the phone rang.

''I'll get it'' I yell upstairs to Emily.

''Alright'' she yell back as I pick up the phone.

''Hello''

''Hola sis, forgot me already.'' Jesse voice came from the other line making me smile.

''I would say no but that would be lying'' I teased him.

''Wow, that hurt big time, I mean I know you for what, eighteen years and you forgot me already.'' his pouty voice came though the phone making me giggle.

''Whatever Jes, so what's up?''

''Nothing much, it's boring here actually. How about you, how was the flight and what are you girls you now?'' he asked.

''The flight was good and we're actually heading over to a party. Do you remember a guy name Joshua, we meet him here when I was eleven and we came over for summer vacation. '' there was a pause from the other line, which made me wonder if he hung up ''Jes are you still there?''

''Yeah, I was just trying to remember, but I think I know who your talking about.'' he responded.

''Oh well, I met him on the plane, and his girlfriend birthday is today. So their having a party tonight and he invited us.''

''Okay then I guess I should let you get ready then?''

''Yea, you probably should. I call you when I get the chance.''
