After dinner, James and his parents went to the living room to share thoughts about the day. Which was required because it helped keep people less stressed. James told his parents about his day.
"That's weird, you would think the teacher would have notified me," his Mom said.
"She did, didn't she?" James asked.
"No, I got no notifications from your teacher," his Mom confirmed.
"But she stopped talking, and sat there for a minute like she was sending you a message, and then she just went on with class like nothing happened," James said.
"That is truly strange, James," his Dad said.
After the meeting with mom and dad, James was full of guilt, for he was keeping one thing from them. He did not tell them about his and Phil's conversation, but James made up his mind. He was going to go and meet the man, and he did not care about the consequences. He was going to find out what was happening.
